Hey everybody! I just released my solo album "Mirror Image" that contains electronic upbeat and ambient songs heavily inspired by video game music and OC Remixes such as this one. This is awesome and all, but I really fail to hear any connection to Chrono Trigger, sans a few parts like 1:26 - 1:39. Otherwise I hear no connection.
@chosentonessournotes It's the first and second parts of Lavos Core theme. The tempo is slower but it's definitely the final boss battle theme. The first theme is up until about 4:00 and then it moves into the final Core theme.
If only the video were shorter so it didn't have that empty realm near the end.

Nice remix. I hear plenty of references to Chrono Triggers OST. I like 3:07 - 3:21 =)
But I would have to say 3:30-45 is my favorite part too.
