I'm more of a jap car fan, but this is one of the best noises you'll ever hear out of any car. Especailly one so affordable! There isn't a single vid on youtube that does the noise of the car any justice, you won't understand how amazing they sound until you hear one in person.

oneSTARR006 correct thats why they have one head. they are good but not the be all and all. dont laugh but ive had some good sorted peugeot engines,they rev like hondas(dont last as long though)lot cheaper too.

Actually the R32 is a 3.2 L transversly mounted VR6. Just bigger displacement.

That's not V6. It's between V6 and R6- almost a V6.

VR stands for the angle of the cylnders 90° degrees rect angle it is a V6 rect angle not the regular v6 3 cylinders in each side of the V .. .. a vr6 is in a W position so that's why it makes that special noise

Mk1 & Mk2 golf gti's will always be my favourites. Small, nimble and posed. the vr6's i drove just felt bland. Have yet to drive an r32, but will soon

you are right about the vr6's airflow and efficiency. i just got a rabbit wiht a inline 5 20 valve and its very similar sounding but in my opinion its more balanced then the vr and and makes pretty much the same power and torque.

I beg to differ. The 12v VR6 was actually pretty horribly designed. You might as well be blowing air through a straw... They SOUND GREAT but the head's airflow is horrible. 24v design is a different story all together.

i no it sounds ridiculous its true they have alot of air pressure in u release it get ridiculous gains but on top of the cams,exhaust and all of that shenanigans you will get a shitload more but also schrick intake manifolds price out at about 1500-1700 bucks soo there not cheap but they look deadly lol
