Yes you can! You can actually change the "gear" of your character by trading in "Reward Points", essentially the currency of MGO, at the "Reward Shop" web site.

Log in on your game's account pass and id, buy the gear, and the gear will be optional to wear from the "Appearance Settings" during game.

Reward Points are free, and are given out during special giveaways, "survival mode", and general game play.

what does the e locator do? is there a way to go onto the ps3 Mgo without physically plugging the Ethernet cord to the ps3 cuz some ppl told me you can do it wireless or something and my Ethernet cord is too far from my PS3 and no using 1-2 extensions will not make it either and anyway i dont evan have 1 extension...

I think, to be able to grab, you need to get CQC to lvl 1, and equip the skill level, Then I think to slit somebodies throat, I think you have to get it to lvl 2.

Yeah, I know it's Knifing Level 3 with CQC lvl 1.... I still don't know who would have that setup in a regular TDM or DM; it's almost suicide. If you can pull it off in a regular game with good results, you are pro in my book. I have both mastered skills...NEVER ONCE TOUCHED THROATS (too dangerous to attempt for me).

No, It is free. U just have to pay extra if you want another character to play as on the same game ID. But you could just easily create a differnt Konami/Game id if u want a another character slot

Lag is when you move to do something and it takes longer than usual for the server to know what you just did so your character is in a different place than on other people game.

those "perks" are called skills. and i suppose that you can level them up by using that specific skill. example, if you want to increase assualt rifle, use the assualt rifle alot. hope this helps

well you start off using 3 skills and when you lvl one up to lvl 2 then you have to remove on of the skills so you can put lvl 2 in because each lvl costs an extra slot, so you have to have it on to lvl it, i am almost ready to lvl my blade to lvl 3 (highest lvl) and assault rifle, and handgun are already lvl 3

if you have WI-Fi just go to the online portion of the game, but make sure the Wi-fi is on on the ps3, if you dont plug in a ethernet cord in the back then go to the online portion of the game and start up, the online portion should appear on the main menu.

Your level goes up as you earn points during play.

Your skills go up as you use them I think, you may gain skill by just making sure that skill is lit up during play.

I think that after you level up you can then level up some of your skills.

I'm not so sure because right now, I'm level 2.

I maxed out the sniper rifle skill that way

to upgrade your skill levels for your weapons you just have to equip the 4 skills you think you'll use the most. Then all you have to do is play some games and eventually they'll level up. Same with your characters overall skill. I'm level 3 and it took me about 7 hours of gameplay. Your skill levels up when you get more kills

Yes, the controls are pretty much the same as MGS4 as far as I know. I played as Snake a few times in the beta and I can tell you, it was fun tricking people with the octocamo.

As for sneaking up behind someone, I would say that it is definatly harder than sneaking up on a computer controlled opponent. But still fairly easy when in close range.
