i didn't actually have time to play Arcania, i am a huge fan of Gothic series, but as it says, it's Arcania a Gothic tale not Gothic 4 and it is the story of someone else, are you guys even past 12 years old? can't you accept change?
omg you have to walk all the way across nordmar and myrtana with xardas to get to that stupid portal, this game really sucked :( after he told me I had to kill rhobar and zuben I quit and watched the ending on youtube. this game is shit compared to the first gothic (never played arcania)... I know there are multiple endings btw
@HDYST Yeah, the walking part sucks... Why couldt Xardas just teleport both of us... It's like a last time that you can see the beautiful lands of the game... Dunno.
@TSMChannel You are right, and I think it's down to marketing strategy... The guys who promoted the game used 'the world' as the strongest argument for the game (well the feeling part was not as good as the visual one), and the game world looks very nice. But after you've walked all across the continents for hours especially in the beginning... It still isn't coherent to walk 2 continents to a location after you start teleporting and the other guy is a demigod :)) Anyway, gothic 1 is my fav
@wondrer00 just fyi: Gothic 1-3 were PyranhaBytes' Games, G3 Expansion and G4 weren't. And if JoWood, those greedy bastards would have let the Pyranha-Team more time for the development of G3 there were much fewer bugs in the game than there were in the release-version.
Just completed this now and decided to check out someone elses Xardas ending to confirm my theory that nobody ever gets the same ending due to how it goes on about the NPC's.
Example, I killed all the Water Mages for the Hashishin thus you get no mention of Saturus, so in effect you could kill Milten, Gorn, Diego, Angar, Saturus, Lee and all important NPC's to really mess the whole ending up or just shorten it - Must try it out.
@TSMChannel after i kicked orcs s ass in ardea then when i killed gorn and i took his weapon i said oh shit nicee 8 thousand i sell it in reddock and then i killed lester becouse i dont liked him but i think they will be not at the ending like at this video
@XardBoy Yes. Somewhat. The characters still appear in Gothic 4, the hero you play with is someone new. And Gothic 4 is more liniar and not that open spaced as the rest of the games in the serie.
@bfhdominjo You can activate the portal only with Xardas. I tried getting there, but if it's not the ending of the game, you can't activate the portal, even if you have the "key"...
Did y'all know that the game Risen is actually a secret sequel to this game? Lol well great video "Liked", i've only finished the game on the Xardas and Innos ending, and I actually sided with the rebels for both of them :D.
@NCONiall I consider Risen to be the next game in line after Gothic 2. Risen is much better. The endings of Gothic 3 kinda sucks... Also Risen final boss. :(
@TSMChannel I think the Risen fight is better, putting 4-5(cant remember) swords into slots that take less than 30 seconds is hardly a "boss" fight. Gothic 1 was a amazing game though.
@TSMChannel the final boss in risen is easy to beat true, but the producers promised that in risen 2 we will kill the rest of the elemental titans....plus we will hepl an all forgotten god of the lizard men !!!
@NCONiall Well, I realy hated RIsen. It was such an amazing game, but the final boss and the lack of quests after the first ones exept for the main quest made it quite dull. I don't remember bragging about more quests in Gothic 1 or 2, never played 3. Anyway, hope they dish out at us a lot more quests in Risen 2, but keep with the rest of the game.
@Thief796 This is the ending from where Gothic 3 : Forsaken Gods continues. But in the G4 story you are King RHobar (some kind of Caesar), and you play with a new nameless hero (that might be your younger clone sent from another dimension to kill you). That's what i know.
@TSMChannel No on gothic 4 Arcania Website they say that namelles hero is bacck from another dimension and then something happens to him and he becomes evil.YOur new character can join himm kill him or just ignore him!Excuse me if im wrong im not trying to offend you or something.
@Thief796 Me neighter... I saw that on the Wikipedia page, and they say that the first nameless hero becomes the new Rhobar... Some friend of mine told me that he becomes evil because of all the good he did or something like that...
Still, all 3 G3 endings kinda suck. Because there's no evil boss monster... you can choose between the gods and no gods (Xardas Ending).
@TSMChannel in G3 Forsaken Gods (the expansion) the Nameless Hero is upset with the way things are going in Myrtana and decides to return from the other dimension and take the throne for himself.
@Thief796 The Xardas ending is the Orc's ending... I never finished the game for Beliar, because there was to much to kill. But i saw the ending... Dunno, the gods thing in G3 is not soo cool like in G1 and G2. I don't like multiple endings, that's why the G1 and G2, are better, my opinion.

G1 and G2 are the best, G3 compared to G4 was not like old G's, but it was ok... The orc talking and thinking annoyed me alot!

In Gothic 2 you were sent to kill the all the dragons, now in Risen 2 you are sent to kill the Titans. Lol although I'm looking forward to the game.
