Great review James. Indeed, Bruce Lee was a legend in martial arts. He was just too awesome for words. I wasn't around back in his time, but even I can appreciate Bruce Lee's greatness. Needless to say, he's influenced numerous fictional characters ranging from Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star, to Fei Long from Street Fighter, and even Spike from Cowboy Bebop. Bruce Lee's influences are so great even today.

YOU CAN GET THE FULL FUTAGE OF THE ACTUAL GAME OF DEATH SHOT BY BRUCE LEE WITH A SPECIAL TWO DISC EDITION OF ENTER THE DRAGON!!! I'm not really sure if it's the full futage because they show even MORE in the other extas of the same dvd. I guess they only put the flawless part in. But at least you get more futage, it's not dubed AND the dvd shows Bruce Lees' ideas behind the making of the movie. In my opinion, it's an AWESOME dvd for someone who's intrested. THUMBS UP FOR EVERYONE TO SEE THIS!

Perfect example how you can rape someones legacy.I think they thought that people couldn't see all that bad editing because the high film-grain in both theater and TV.This way they could lead him act as though he was still alive.They should have done it so as to leave the dubbel in only the first part,before the facial restructure part and add Bruce's fights(weren't completed)with the dubbel so as to hide his face(make it dimly so that the dubbels face isn't good to see,while getting hit or so)

here's how Bruce's death really happened: the part where he was shot in the face was actually filmed with Bruce in it. but someone put an actual bullet in the gun used for the scene, so when they fired at Bruce, he was actually shot and that's how he died. the footage with Bruce was not put in the movie, so they re-filmed it with the fake actor. this is TRUE.

I actually don't think Robert Clouse's "Game of Death" was that much of a disaster. I enjoyed for what it was worth. I laughed at the mismatched stock footage moments. I especially love the fight scenes with both the double and the real Bruce Lee. I'd give 2 1/2 Stars for Story, but I'm giving it 3 Stars for the action.
