ok here is how its done

1st - they are specail cards that can be either ace or 5

to change the card all u do is slide the surface of the card hence a slide over to both 'players' this slide switches the cards over

trick works cos everyone thinks the cards are normal playing cards - which is why he never asked them to pick 2 random cards from the pack

also notice how he holds the cards to show them off and wont let them hold the cards incase they accidentally slide them

the pad hes putting the cards on has ink that stamps the numbers and symbols. when he has them close to him (in that certain spot) it stamps the ace on the left card. when he slides it it wipes the ink of. then he slides it to them where the ace is stamped to the right card.

it doesnt stamp the cards. If you look at the old guys card he's applying a lot of pressure which is causing the card to bend. It wouldnt be possible to print it
