@Dunedain4397 Formations and tactics are not too advanced, pretty much hold, move, charge and so on - but even just that is very much fun as (mounted) combat is done so well. However, there are mods that can add all kinds of formations and tactical commands to the game, including shield walls, brace spears, and such.

@Dunedain4397 I don't know if they work on the demo (I doubt it), but you can find mods in the Taleworlds forums. There are probably others, but later in this let's play I started using Pre-Battle Orders & Deployment, which has formations in it (in addition to other stuff)

Hi guys. btw great vid! @F1zzzy90 Diplomacy mod (link in description as always). Make sure it's enabled (Diplomacy mod options from "Camp"). And then fall in battle :)

the nords are the hardest faction to beat. theyve been in peace for monthes for me and then just went all out on the vaegers. :( we are losing all our land.

@Xavier56100 i can't agree there o_o i played as vaegris, we was at war with the Nords. we destroyed them in less than a month (ingame time) they just fell like flies :o

Yeah, small groups of elite soliders can take out vastly larger armys. I usually have around 30 Khegirit Lancers and Vet. Archers and we can take out groups of 85 using superior tactics.

It's seems far more likely your troops will die if you turn it off as if i was not fighting with my swadian knights many more died. even if i was there and didnt do anything notas many or none at all died if you just let it skip past it a lot more appear to die.

@Dredan143 I think you're right - the combat result calculation (sending troops without player or player knocked out) gives different results compared to actual fight (player alive or the combat continuation on).

Plus, I think more "versatile" army (e.g. not just cavalry, but even infantry/archers/cavalry) does better on the calculations (including NPC battles) - but for player all cavalry army does very well (but is a bit boring).

It doesnt matter how many troops you have it matters what type and can you camand them to kill more than one.

@JamesR3d When i play this game i tend to have a small group of personal bodyguards (30-50 swadian knights) and we take out massive armys of about 400
