Good effort, shame about the result. I think you should cut the bottle in half length ways before you start and lay it on its side. Use some sort of barrier to keep the cola part at one end. The result will be a cola bottle that is flat on one side and curved on the other but it will be easier to remove from the bottle mould.

i think i put too much gelatine in and it tasted nasty. Also on the website is says that they used veg gel not gelatine.

i like the idea but next time use a tin foil mold of the top and bottom half of the cola bottle (separate of course)cool them and stick together, works for me

Very good. Shame it didn't come out properly at the end. Getting something out of a bottle that isn't meant to be cut open is always hard. Good try.
