  • not all fish can get rid of hooks. do you have any idea how long it takes for a hook to rust? it can take up to a year. you guys need to invest in jaw openers.

  • small

  • nice fish

  • bud that pig looked like it was about 32 32.5 on ur tape measure

  • really DANmark, nice try.

  • Denmark is spelled Danmark in danish :)

Just as Germany is Deutchland, Norway is Norge etc.

nvm. just thought i would explain

  • hey no swearing it swolled it deep

  • Yha! Minnesota fishing ROCKS!

    Nice catch!

  • shoulve just kept the fish. the thing is probably dead after you leave a hook in it's throat like that.

  • No, eventually the hook rusts especially in cold weather and falls apart. The fish is then perfectly fine and the hook wound heals.

  • no, a hook in a pikes throat can take a long time to rust apart. The size hooks most people use on their tipups are enough to cause a fish to starve to death if left stuck in it's throat. Really people, keep the fish or learn how to unhook a deep hooked fish.

  • I always take the hook out no matter what anyways.

  • @reggiefavre Same

  • stupid ass just take the fuckin hook out who the hell would leve it in dum fuck

  • lol i live in grand rapids mn

  • the ice looks real thin

  • what is this song called and who sings it.

  • made me hungry.

  • it was a very good deed you guys did for the day, although when releasing a fish remember to get as close as you can to the hook and then cut, if it swallowed it deep, well try eating it, they are very tasty!

  • We trimmed it down with a clippers right next to the hook we just didnt show it.

  • catch and release, thats what im talkin about my man! nice fish!

  • greaatttttttttttttttt!!!!!

  • WELL DONE BOYS!! Good video.

  • nice video and grads

  • you hold it rong if you put your finger in the top of its gills it want move if you hold it like that it will flap out of your hands also if you hold it buy its gills it opens its mouth then you might try geting the hook out

  • takes u long enough to reel in

  • muito bom, um grande incentivo para todos os pescadores: pescar, medir, fotografar e libertar o peixe.

  • i luv the song and good job on the fish!

  • nice i would have aten it lol

  • good song

  • With a fish that size, a deep hook might not have caused fatal damage. Had it been a fish over 35 inches, it could have been fatal.

And another thing, a big pike? Please tell me you're joking.

  • First of all I like to see people releasing their pikes... BUT: as u can see the ice is very rough, if the pike moves now (as he did in the video) it hurts his skin, which is a much bigger problem than any hook

whatever man... nice pike. check out my biggest one

  • good song

  • u guys have no fucking clue what ur doing

  • What are we doing wrong?

  • It would have dissolved the hook eventually, but certainly not in a matter of days. If you do have to cut the line, try to cut it as close as you can to the hook. You should have really opened it's mouth and cut it with some wire cutters.

    Nice fish though, congrats.

  • Shows how much you really know about fishing.

The fish dissolves the hook in a matter of days.

  • fuck you,

why you gave the pike back into the lake when he took the hook too deep. he died for sure.

how long do you fish? 1 week?

  • Yea um fish do dissolve hooks in a matter of days it only takes like 3 days for them and as long as they didn't try to take the hook out because it wasn't bleeding it should be fine and there skin's tough enough that it doesn't hurt them to bad (that's why they have scales) But don't take it from me a Conservation Officer
