A brilliant product! I find it a considerable improvement on the 2007 version. This encompasses all that is needed when preparing a simple letter (yes, I know...but 'snail mail' is far more presentable influential when discussing certain things as opposed to the seemingly cursory 'after thought' of e-mail?) or even the most detailed and forensic bio-chemistry presentation! So... "Microsoft Word 2010" is basically "Microsoft Word 2007 Online"? Besides the live editing (which has been offered by other products for years), there is almost nothing different from 2007 (at least shown in this video).

I absolutely love Office 2007, it is such a leap from previous Office versions. I can't wait to try this one out. I love how Microsoft made Windows 7 and Office 2010 so smooth and easy to use. I feel like a professional even though I only know like 5% of the whole thing!

Yeah, I always loved MS Office 2000 for it's simplicity and it's Cat or Dog assistant. But Office 2010 is way better - easier to use and more straightforward than even Office 2007. And the look is more minimalistic and elegant. Good job Microsoft!

when i say this im just saying that i like word, don't like excel (number (iwork) is way better) and powerpoint sucks 1000000x compared to keynote, but only thing is iwork is for mac & office is for both

when iwork is available for mac and pc it will beat out office hands down!!!!!!

In fact I have iWork and it does not auto-correct. It is a useful office package for making documents look good but it gets tiring after endlessly editing your work.

I do agree Keynote is better, but numbers is a piece of ****. NEXT TIME WHY DON"T YOU USE PROPER GRAMMAR WHILST TYPING.

I about spit out my drink when I saw how she pitched all the "cool new effects" that Word can do to "spice up" a document. That's all we need - to make it easier for hundreds of thousands of suits-gone-designers to wield their new versions of Word and produce neverending heaps of nausea-inducing wordart to plague the earth. And they kept using the document (disgusting reflection, drop shadow, and outer glow included) for the entire product demo. Ugh. Microsoft, please spare us.
