I used to screen print a lot 20 years or so ago. Lee does go on a bit but he is 100% the real deal and loves his craft. His tips will save beginners so much grief. And I really admire the press he has designed (I hope that he has a patent). It is perfect for the home printer; even the smallest carousels need a room of their own to use. I wish it was around in my day.
@GreatMalvern is this THE 'Greatmalvern'???? Wow! Evel Kneivel told me you were his idol!!! :D Thanks for the comment! Yeah...I can talk...but it beats drinking!!! :D I just love SP and I do NOT love those trying to muck it up. It is great to hear that your daughter is picking it up! That makes me smile. No politics with 5 year olds...they just love art stuff. Thanks very much. Oh yeah...and I aint' done talkin! AND PROVING what the real deal is. New Vid series taking shape-'youtees- 2012'.
@GreatMalvern PS...I WAS around in your day :D :D :D O started SP in 1979. Your never too old too screen print! ( or street luge...or kayak...or hang glide...or) were not old until we have bugs living in our eye sockets.
dude, your knowledge is awesome, and I do understand why you speak the way you do and protect the years of of experience you've gained. I'd like to buy one of your presses.
I know it is a long description to this! Yet, it certainly IS one of the issues that surrounds and pervades being invloved in SP as long and versatily as I have been/ am. I could 'smile and wave' and pretend it does not exist but it does and I don't mind mentioning it....if it helps anybody understand even in a small way my ethic, and another reason or two as to why I do things differently.
