Why buying a PSP when I can play every PS1 game on my phone for free ?

Of course the PSP is a very nice console, but it has always been the same matter with emulation on PC or PPC : why don't you buy a NES or superNES? Why don't you buy a PSX? What about buying a N64?

because on psp you have buttons, you have analog joystick... you have a true console.

On psp i play psp,psx,snes,nes,gamboy advance, a little N64 ecc ecc.

a PPC full touch is not for gaming. I laughed so hard when i saw the video of driver2 with auto acceleration. To accelerate was the funny thing of that game...

If you need buttons, there are PPCs with a keyboard.

And the HTC Leo for example has a multitouch screen,

And the vid of driver 2 was recorded before the use of the stylus or the G-sensor was implemented, and also before the onscreen transparent overlays were made. (imagine it with a multitouch screen, no need for buttons)

On my PPC, I also play Nes, SNES, GBA, Genesis, MAME, etc, + windows games

It's true the real console is better but hey man, thtat's usual with emulation isn't it? ^^

I laughed again. Without multitouch like iphone or ipod touch you can't press more than one key at the same time lol. This thing could be usable with a capacitive touch like the HTC HD2. In my honest opinon.

And sorry again, you're wrong now. Watch my very last vid. with Medievil, you'll see it's easy to do what you want while moving, attack while moving, jump in every direction, etc, without multitouch.

And the iphone is not able to run psx games at a descent speed excepted maybe 2 games lol

wow, this runs really well, but the problem is that with the TG01 you won't get nearly as many hits (and donations and/or purchases if you sell this) as with the omnia and also this phone is WAY better than anyone else has, making it impossible to really benchmark the new fpsece for us living in the real world. I must say that I am impressed with how .1 fpsece is looking and with this Toshiba. I wish I had $600 for a phone like this or omnia 2 - omnia i900 is the most I could afford :(

I've made many vids with the Omnia before making some with the TG01.

Actually, what you can see on my previous vids with the Omnia is the max achievable with this device, what means most of the games very playable and some full speed.

BTW, I paid 270 euros on ebay for my TG01

Actually you can have a TG01 on the internet for about half the price of an HD2......it seems people did not notice that the WinMo 6.5 update fixed the bugs of the TG01, prices did not increase and remain the same as the buged TG01 running WinMo 6.1...

Or HTC reputation (and the hopes based on XDA development) are so bug that people are ready to pay £500 for the HD2.

Thank you very much. Im simply in love with fpsece 0.10 . And the fact that you can move , make more , delete virtual buttons is simply amazing. I would never think of this. But i seen many videos of your omnia with bluetooth gamepad. Can you click multiple buttons at same time (on gamepad) and game will understand it? Like multi touch button style ...

Yes, of course, with a bluetooth gamepad or an USB gamepad (on the TG01) multi-press works for every game or emulator.

Hardware sliding keyboards also work.

finally, Schtruck thinks he can implement "real" multitouch for fosece on the HTC HD2 Leo....when he has the Leo (in weeks). That could make hesitate between the HD2 and the TG01.

But the HD2 is really more expensive

Hey , could i ask you something again ? I go to french ebay site, and i find 9 toshiba tg01 phones : price from 250 euros to 350.... My question is - are the prices still in auction or you can buy it now ? French ebay is way different from German or other ones....

there are mainly auctions (should see time remaining before the end) or some are buy it now (no indication of a remaining time), but I think 350 is the maximum.

But remember: if you buy a French TG01, you can install applications in other languages, but all the OS and the menus, everything, will be in french, it's not possible to change Windows Mobile language. More, it's not possible to flash a TG01 with a rom from another country than the original one, be aware of it! (do you speak french?)

Maybe on a few game, I don't really know this CPU... but I don't really think so.

I think some games will be fast enough to be very playable anyway (but FpseCE reaction can be very different from a device to another, not always related to the cpu....)

No multitouch, I use my bluetooth gamepad, but since it has a real USB, you can use an USB gamepad (or usb mouse, usb keyboard...)

Good news: YES, full screen landscape on the Omnia too (and normally, on every device!)

It was more difficult for the Omnia, but Schtruck did it yesterday

This emulator has been improved a lot, the last released version runs FF7 at about 35/40 fps on Omnia but this new version seems to run it at fullspeed. Still waiting for realease, it may even run at fullspeed on the xperia (a bit slower than omnia : ))
