@fmtjr3452 I had heard nothing but good about Kahr products prior to making my purchase. That is one of the reasons that I was willing to spend substantially more than I had on other handguns. I am still going to give them a chance when I install the new slide stop spring that arrived in the mail yesterday. However, I have a feeling that I might be picking up an XDs when it hits the market.
@thatsheepdog I spoke to Kahr this morning. They gave me my Return Authorization Number and emailed me a FedEx Shipping Label. I dropped the package off at the nearby FedEx office on the way home from work. Kahr's website states about a three week turnaround. I am now second guessing my decision to go with the PM45.
I purchased the PM45 a few weeks ago. It has been broken in with over 500 rounds through it. Mine suffers from light strikes, jamming, and not locking back on the last round! I went to the range this morning to give it one more chance. The first three pulls of the trigger were all light strikes. I unloaded the gun and came home. Not happy with Kahr. I have emailed them and completed their on line RA Form, but no responses yet. I am disappointed.
@skykink I really like the look of that XDs as well! It is slightly longer and actually fairly heavier, but shorter in height and slimmer. I might get one if I continue to have problems with this, though I would prefer S&W make an American made M&P version.
Fascinating, educational video! I was leaning towards getting one of these based on the 400 flawless rounds I have put through my recent Kahr PM9 purchase. The game for me has now changed with the intro of the SA XDS compact .45 at the Shot Show.
@fmtjr3452 I got the spring in the mail. I am hoping to shoot it Tuesday and get the vid up, but I do have to return a cracked magazine...
