@GarretJordan First of all, I know how much that evo hp had. It made 440 and the same dyno the M3 made 385 (it's normal for E9x M3s). So the hp difference was 55hp. Second, the evo was much lighter. That is why the outcome is not surprising at all. If you want to see what whould happen when an evo had 500+ hp, whatch anoter vid that I made. :)

Lap times doesn't say which car corners better as straight line performance is also involved, but at least it gives you an idea.

1) 310 kmh was the speed shown on the speedo. Real (GPS measured) speed would be lower, probaby ~290 kmh.

2) Can you read? It was written the EVO wasn't stock. And it is obvious.

@spirit407 People who bought the M3 bought it for the car's total balance. Not for speed. Even though the Evo gets spanked in the end, owning an M3 puts you in a different world. It's not every minute of the day you do stop light to stop light racing (which the Evo was built for). So having all that extra quality and amenities surrounding you for your daily commute sure makes your 60K worthwhile... if you can afford it. LOL!

Are you american? No offence although... Evos are built to dominate on all kind of road sufaces. Tarmac, gravel, snow, ice and mixes of all mentioned. This particular Evo is fully street legal, street driven machine, but still capable to be used in any conditions with minor modifications. Both Evos and M3 have GREAT motorsport history, both are legends, but...different.
