Wah! This isn't that much of a tutorial, it bassically that kilo person makin a sig. Shouldn't the pace of this video be much slower then it is right now? The person should explain the effects of the filters and other stuff that he's using. This really isn't much of a tutorial tbh.

So what if a beginner follows along on how to do this, they probably won't understand whats going on most of the time, if this was really a 'simple' sig tutorial than it would have someone making a simple sig and explaining what every tool that he uses does and how to make the best of it. Also this isn't a simple sig, the person is using Bluring, gradient maps, sharpening border lines and etc. But failed on the text.

i think it was really good, and, compared to my skills with photoshop, it was NOT simple, lol. For me that is, cuz i dont know much about PS yet. Ok, this is the exact way to stretch it like this guy does, first, go to the marquee tool area (dotted rectangle for retards) then select the single column marquee tool (single dotted line for retards) press ctrl T and strech! Voila!!

Foe the boarder, I make the first one black and 4 px. The second one, I make white and 2 px and the third one, I make black and one px... This makes the boarder look more even for me. Thanks for the tutorial anyway.

Good for like true "first time" beginners, but really the outcome was pretty bad, plus grunge sigs are generally always terrible because they're for noobs. Otherwise i was a decent tutorial, next time kilo needs to add where he found the brushes and possibly go slower because not everyone can follow that quickly.

For stretching just use single column marquee tool, or some of them, just try it out. And then hold Ctrl+T in. and you'll get it look nice

Hmmm it's kinda simpel minded if you ask me.

Rather boring outcome.

No lighting effects, no real deapth.

And the placement of the render is somewhat off.

With colours it's alright =]

And that text blur can be done easier with gassian blur.

Saves you alot of mouse work :P

You have to use the marquee tool, drag it down all your render and make it one pixel thick. Then drag it as he said / transform > scale it and stretch it across.

Nice tut, not too fast at all. Advanced Photoshop users sometimes frown upon using fractal brushes like those to make "grunge" effects, but it is a simple way for new people to do, and produces good results with a small amount of work.  Ending result was a bit dark, but gradient maps, curves adjustment, and color levels change that easily. It all depends on the render. :D

Lol, when i try and put a picture on the background it turns out small. I have two windows, one with the picture and one with the background. When i drag the image from the window to the other it goes small, way smaller than the window with the picture. Could anyone tell me now to get the picture big when placing it on the background?
