in all honesty its not that small a bed. i mean sure there are mid-sized trucks with larger beds but thats what a trucks for. this is for someone who wants a 4wd automobile without it being huge and while still being able to have trunk space. (or bed space).

Soooo I'm supose to buy a 4 door jeep, pull off the top and back doors, buy a $6000.00 kit, install it, then I have to repaint it. No thanks, I guess I'll have to go buy another Nissan. I had the wife all ready to let me buy a Jeep truck too. Thisis what you get when you have some foreign guy thinking he knows what americans want. You're already making the trucks, just modify them for the american market.

Why is this considered a pick-up... Jeep, just compete with Land Rover and come out with a 130in wheel base just like the Defender 130 and add a full size Hi-cap bed.

The Jeep Gladiator is being built in Ohio 4th quarter this year...save your money and buy a new one. My family works at the plant and the CEO has been their 3 times in the last 2 months and they are beginning retooling for the Gladiator.

What they should say is they made a closed cabin Jeep with a pickup, because you can easily modify the others by dropping the canvas and bars. That's been a highlight of these vehicles for decades.

Just what we need, "Pietro Gorlier" Who? This is why Chrysler needs to buy it self out of Fiat and stand on it own feet. I am sure he grew up here in the states with truck & Jeeps, now telling us what we need . Do not get me wrong, the KJ-8 is kool, but why has it taken them this LONG to put this together , and Why can we not buy it direct from them???????? Oh let me guess, because it would cost over $50k
