It's me that always requests it on Frankie Conners show on R. M.side every week- when he's on! Loved the show in R. Merseyside last year with Frankie - any photo's?
Kenny Parry - fabulous voice - awesome as always - my favourite is still "so what" - play it all the time in Canada - such great memories of the Harvester and the Red Door. You must catch him live!!
wow thanks for posting that, talk about memory lane havnt heard that song for so long, reminds me of the peaceful hour on city and a girl called paula :)
I used to go and watch Billy in a band in the Pacific in Birkenhead in the early 80`s called the Cheats..Arthur Caravan on guitar..Brilliant watching REAL pro`s playing in a pub..great memories.
I can't put into words what I feel. I find myself the biggest fan. Once I travelled to England to see them but the the cancelled the concert. The saddest day of my Life
barry manilow never recorded this it was written and sang by kenny parry & billy kinsley (liverpool express)and should have been a hit...if some boy band would record it, it would be a no 1.
I'm an American so I never heard of this band but I stumbled across "It's a Beautiful Day" in a music service I belong to. I liked it so I came here to check out the band. I like them.
I used to go and see this band with my Dad (about 1976) who I miss so much. (the star and garter in st johns precinct). Brilliant memories. Tony Jefferies

Hi, Derek Cashin(the drummer) is my dad. I get so proud of him every time I see him on TV. I know it sounds sad but its great to have a famous dad.

You should be proud of him Chris. This was when bands were great and they composed and played the music themselves. Great years.
