Do you need a midi input on your soundcard or can you just run through standard line in/microphone jack and then into synthogy?

@djedditt Does the synthogy software come in a cd? If it does after that you have to install it on your computer right? Then how do you connect it to your computer, is there a special cable or something?

Once your able to connect it to the piano the sound comes immediately right?

@kaputasri I'm still running and old version of Ivory, 1.5 (newer versions require you to have an expensive iLok key). It came in 10 DVDs, and you have to install those (or a number of them, depending on which piano samples you want) to you computer. I connected my keyboard to my computer via a USB cable, but MIDI is also an option. Then you have to find a program that can load the Ivory "VST", I use Sony ACID. It's kind of a hassle to start the program etc., but that's definitely worth it ;)
