  • Great quotes. Particularly like White's "Be obscure clearly." Not that you should struggle to have esoteric concepts, but I've always loved books with simple language, but where the meaning creeps up on you, and demands to be thought about later. (ie, Demian, Animal Farm, any Fl. O'Connor, etc) I hate books where heavy prose itself wants to substitute for meaning, where the author seems intent on making the actual reading of the words as difficult as possible. Say it! If it's deep, we'll think.

  • Lol I love those

  • I need an agent. Trying to find a decent publisher to go through for this secound on. The first one Just Kelly I got a carppy deal on. Other authors I know who went through the same publisher got jipped on there rayolities like I did. I've been braodecasting stuff on yourtube hoping someone will notice and making contacts through aome acting friends. Despite the writing groups and connacts I have yet to see results into finding someone who can help me get the 2nd book ou there.

  • @krazykelly25 how is your online presence? what avenues have you explored?

  • Good words to live by from us authors. i'm not well known yet, but I have writen two books.

  • @krazykelly25 that's the only way to start out. that and connect with other writers to hone your craft. i'm only on book two also, but i've been getting inspiration where I can

  • Yeah, some of these are classics :).

  • OMG LOL

"Substitute "damn" every time you're inclined to write "very," your editor will delte it and the writing will be just as it should be."
