this is really extremely good. There seems to be a lot of people who think it's necessary to offer technical advice. I think it's fairly obvious that he's in good hands and knows exactly what he's doing. Charles Brooks, Co-Principal Cello Shenzenzhen Symphony, China.
Mrs. Aldort, you have an amazing son. I've never seen anyone his age play like that. Everything on the cello seems easy for him, he never misses a note. I sincerely hope that you will take the proper steps (finding the right teacher, right manager, etc.) to allow him to maximize his abilities. He's got unreal potential, if nurtured properly, he will become something really special.
Congratulations, this is obviously lovely accurate playing. Can't help thinking most teachers would be aghast at how low your left arm is. Has this never been addressed? You're having to climb up and over the fingerboard.
The bent left wrist in transitional positions is something that does need to be addressed at some point, a low arm is fine but the elbow needs to raise a bit sooner. A bent wrist like that is a gaurantee of future injury problems. Really great playing overall, and he obviously has plenty of time to overcome the relatively minor technical issues present. Keep going Oliver!
Dude.
1. Dvorak knew what he was doing.
2. Oliver Aldort knows what he is doing.

what is the name of this song? is it just concerto allegro?

It is not a "song." It is the first movement of Dvorak's cello concerto, marked allegro (means lively).

There are different schools and styles. Oliver's left arm is well guided in the low and relaxed style. Watch some of the greatest to see the same.
