My father, the late Singin' Sam Agins, was a folklorist & cowboy entertainer, was friends with Travis & also spent much of his life perfoming around the Southern AZ area. He loved this song and even taught portions of it to me which I can still crudely play. I know it was one of his favorites and he spoke often of how wonderfully Travis would play it and even wrote about it in his book. I never thought I'd get to experience that but through this video I now see why he was so impressed. Thanks

Travis (and Bud & Travis) made about 8 recordings of Malaguena Salerosa. This is among the best, in my opinion. And although Travis & B&T were on many national TV shows, this is the only Malaguena Salerosa video I'm aware of. This is very important!
