If you've kept up with the debates until now you'd know the answer to your own question. You can't abolish the IRS without cutting spending (Ex: cut the funding to police the world, limit the size of government, abolish Dep. of Education and Dep. of Homeland Security). All that funding would in return be used to fund our government without ubiquitous taxation.

The US government only receives about 45% of its revenue from individual income taxes. I've looked at him before, he is smart when it comes to domestic affairs. But on foreign relations and policy issues I tend to disagree with him. I'm really starting to look into Huckabee. I actually like Ron Paul myself, some of his ideas are abit extreme, but I like his general platform, and find him very honest. My problem is that he will never get anywhere as long as all these 9/11 "truthers" keep making him look stupid. How can anyone say they are for increasing border security yet at the same time want to open up a Super Highway from Mexico to Canada? More people need to read about the "The Security and Prosperity Partership" that President Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin signed off on. This has been discussed for years. This will be a bureaucratic nightmare to enforce immigration having a NAU. We'll soon be in line getting our NATIONAL ID cards for the NAU.

It almost sounds like you want the government to collect money from you. Personally, I'd like to keep the money I earn for a living. If you've kept up with the debates until now you'd know the answer to your own question. You can't abolish the IRS without cutting spending (Ex: cut the funding to police the world, limit the size of government, abolish Dep. of Education and Dep. of Homeland Security). All that funding would in return be used to fund our government without ubiquitous taxation.

The US government only receives about 45% of its revenue from individual income taxes. Abolishing the IRS and the income tax is perfectly feasible if we drastically cut spending and stop trying to fund our unaffordable empire (end the war, stop occupying 130 countries, get rid of unconstitutional, unnecessary, and harmful departments like the Department of Education, etc.).

Actually, I'm not sure. It could have been part of a bigger agenda here. Lou Dobbs has mentioned it several times on CNN. Why Toobin tried to discount him, I don't know. But maybe CNN wanted to get this information out to the public and get people to look into this stuff. Plus, they gave Paul the 2nd to last question of the debate. Im not a Ron Paul supporter, and I disagree with Ron Paul on many issues. But Jeffrey Toobin showed his ignorance in this video. How can he call the NAFTA superhighway a "figment of Ron Paul's imagination", when it is being constructed right now. Toobin needs to google Trans-Texas corridor, maybe then will he learn that he knows nothing on the subject.

You should support Paul this election for having the courage to tell the truth, something none of the other candidates are willing to do in either party.

I've looked at him before, he is smart when it comes to domestic affairs. But on foreign relations and policy issues I tend to disagree with him. I'm really starting to look into Huckabee. I've watched him in the debates, he is very articulate. I also agree with him on many of his policy stances, domestic and international. But im still open to things. I just severely doubt Ron Paul's electability.

Was Huckabee willing to tell the truth on the NAU proposal? That tells you that it is politics as usual with him. I don't doubt that he's a good man ... did make a big mistake in allowing the rapist go which is going to hurt him, although I don't know to what extent. But it's pretty clear there is a lot of War Propaganda going on in our party.

The question wasn't directed towards him, nor was he even asked the question. So we don't really know what his opinions on the matter are. Also, you have to realize, a lot of these videos on Youtube about the NAU, for the most part, are creating xenophobia among people. Do I support a Union of US, Mexico, and Canada similar to the EU? No, but unions like the EU have their benefits.

If you look at the different nations of the EU, you will notice they still have their national identity .Now when these Unions start violating our sovereignty, like common tariffs, and common policy, that is when trouble lingers.

Well, that's exactly what the EU is doing. It's one big monster. First the Euro that devalued a lot of things, prices rose 100% and more. Then the unelected EU government, deciding things they should have no say about. Then the EU constitution - got smashed by the voters (cause it was HORRIBLE) - then they ignored the vote. IT'S A HORROR MOVIE!

Never said the EU was perfect, it does have some major faults. I just wanted people to be a little more open minded. And to realize its not all negative with these unions.

And I can only imagine that this is because they want to push Democracy militarily all over the world, and we have no right to do this. How would we like it if Russia came here and tried to militarily force us to embrace Communism? We would fight it, of course. We are being very arrogant in our views, and we will lose to the Dems unless we do something about it.

Now this is where I have to disagree with you. While it is wrong to force our way of life on everybody by means of military force, as the leaders of the free world we have the responsibility to help the people of the world that need assistance. Now it must be judged on a case by case basis, is it in our interests to do action "x" to country "y" per se.
