Faith is the acknolwedgement that what you believe in may not have any proof but is non-the-less factual. We cannot prove the laws of thermodynamics, but we know that they are there and nature abides by them. If every scientist on earth believes in something they cannot prove, how can it be? So too is religious belief. And, mumuring to an entity that no one has ever met, is not a waste of time if it brings healing, truth, and hope to those in need of such support.

And as for weak minded, this song promotes weak mindedness. Instead of using your mind to actively seek the answers it encourages you to sit there and murmur to some imaginary father figure until the answers come to you. That is highly, intellectually lazy. Scientist are constantly presenting evidence to the public. Many of them say not to take their word for it, but to go test the evidence yourself. The problem is not a lack of evidence, it is a lack of ambition to LOOK at the evidence. You already think you know the answer so you don't bother to question it. If you are not willing to question what you think you know, you will never know if what you believe is actually true. Weak minded is not name calling, if you do not use your mind, it is weak.

Nothing I say is going to make you look at the evidence. Therefore nothing I do is going to make you realize the reality. But the reality is many of the claims made by the bible are demonstrably false; and the only people who say there is no evidence for evolution are those who have the presupposition that god did it all. If you don't look at the evidence for something without presupposing the truth you will not get an accurate answer.

From my reading of evolutionary discussions mainly prof R Dawkins I can see that evolution has no proof. Evolutionists make a multitude of assumptions from the evidence.Evidence can be interpreted in many ways.Evolutionists choose assumptions which support their belief system- thats not proof

The current knowledge of the universe, as known by humanity, is 1 to the 30th power greater than the information contained in all the bibles ever printed. The only thing that had to happen by accident is a string of molecules coming together to form a single cell that was capable of reproduction. From there on out it depended on survivability of random variations. If a variation occurred that hindered survival that variation was eliminated. If it improved survival is was duplicated.
