Nice video! I have a great friend who is a senior capt for the A330. That's my favorite plane I flew on it three times, it's a thing of beauty. Nice job. Like the thrust reverse sounds of those PW's.
When I stay at Hartsfield this is the ONLY Hotel I stay at. If you love to watch planes takeoff and land you can't beat the view. At the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel.
@Airbus294 Well from the angle that we see it from in this video they could be going faster than it looks so it might still needed to be up. Also for larger aircraft they keep it up a little longer I believe.
@beatlemyn Condensation; it's just water vapour, the heat of the engines heats up the moisture in the air and produces those condensation trails; they also go over the wings too if you look.
@rustlerboi1052 Fuel dumping are used in emergency cases only, and it will never be done at such low altitudes and onto resident areas. What you see are wingtip vortices. The white vortex trails can be clearly visible when humidity is high because they are vapor formed along with the vortices.
@RCKTBOY7 Why? Because Airbus products are superior. Don't think I'm a person who hates American products. I won't drive anything other than GM. But in the end, Airbus is vastly superior.
@SpiritA350 Vastly superior? That's laughable. If you're talking about efficiency, that's certainly debatable. But if you're talking about durability of design, then Airbus would be INFERIOR to any major commercial aircraft maker (Boeing, Embraer, Bombardier, and especially Douglas and Lockheed back in the day). NONE of those makers have a history of vertical stabilizers completely snapping off. An 11 degree input at 250 kts causing a v/s to snap off? That's ridiculous!
@Tigerwarhawk Laughable? To start with, Airbus has a better wing, is more efficient (No debate), and speaking of inferior design, remember back in the day when the 737 had the rudder issues? Douglas (my favorite) were one of the most unsafe, but Lockheed was an excellent aircraft, no doubt about that. Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have a A321 or a B739? By the looks of it, most people would chose a A321. Why? Because it outclasses the 739 in every way.
@Tigerwarhawk And what's even more ridiculous is the fact that a 737 needs more runway than a 767. Furthermore, let me state for a fact that I prefer a Boeing widebody. (i.e. 777 > A340, 767 > A330) But, I'd take Airbus narrowbodies over Boeing narrowbodies. Once again, Narrow = Airbus, Wide = Boeing. But then again, that's only my opinion.

Took a while to retract the speed brake, didn't it? They normally retract when the aircraft has slowed to taxi speed.

What is trailing from the wingtip? I was plane-watching at DFW the other day and I saw the same thing on an MD-82. I thought it was on fire at first.

i think it may be fuel they are purposely dumping for landing? Just a guess.
