If you watch a still Gatherer long enough, they may raise their arms and hold their hands to their head, or hide their face in their hands and appear to sob. It may or may not indicate some amount of humanity left within them. Just a possible note. >.>

I think the grunt is much scarier than the brute. Both in looks AND in appearance. So the first half of the game is much scarier than the second half. I just can't be that afraid of something that doesn't have a face, and has a cliche'd weapon attached to it's arm.
