Was this Mr. Monahan your teacher? If the guy at 0:40 was really taught that patriotism means unquestioning obedience to your government, this teacher needs to be fired!
Maybe that would be a fine definition under a dictatorship, but here patriotism is the exact opposite. It means questioning your government's actions and preventing them from trampling the rights of citizens.
