  • i love him he great at sing

  • @EriksChristine It's on the DVD, "Josh Groban : An Evening in New York" Reprise Records, 2009. I strongly recommend this DVD. While Josh's CD's have always been flawless, his live performance skills have sometimes been considerably weaker. This most recent DVD shows tremendous evolution and a near perfect performance.

  • Such amazing talent... oh my gosh!

  • <3 Joshieee

  • Sorry if this is a repeat comment, but does anyone know where this was filmed? When I saw him in Vancouver in 2007, those of us in the front row were allowed to approach the stage like these fans here, just for this song.

  • It was filmed by me in Toronto on March 5, 2007. i was in the tenth row.

  • Neat! Thanks for the reply. :)

  • im kinda dissapointed he didnt go big on the "but in time" but other than tht rele good. i kno its supposed to be high the first time but the second time ur supposed to go big

  • Nice job.

  • I want him to sing that to me to cheer me up... I love you Josh. When you come here again I coming to see you again. your awesome

  • holy shiznap! he is so good!

  • Honestly, what CAN'T Josh Groban sing?

  • @SaVeStHeDaY37mm

He can't sing anything past 25% tenor ranges... lol

  • @SaVeStHeDaY37mm As much as I love Josh, Music of the Night will always be Michael Crawford's piece. There's a vid of him performing it and he lost his pitch a tad. Felt kinda bad for him cause I think he was performing for the president... The vid's floating around.

  • what key is this in?

  • ed did that in a studio though and he is doing it live!!! i like this version better!!!

  • Yes, but Ed had a wonderful voice regardless! After puberty his voice could either become greater or plummet to where it sucks. I'm rooting for the better one because he's damn adorable and I loved it when he sang.

  • wow

  • I LOVE HIM

  • ED SANDERS VERSION IS BETTA

  • EVERY version is better

  • Mandy Patinkin sings this song so well.I wish it was on here - he is just great.I don't like this version at all.

  • true, true. and i think that Ed Sanders was 14 when they filmed it, but he's 15 now so yeah. but yeah u have a good point

  • no he was 13 when they filmed it.

    hes now 14.

  • oh...

  • okay, he has a good voice, no doubt, but Ed Sanders did it better.

  • yeah, Ed has a amazing voice.

  • I have to agree. Josh is a grown man. I think this song is much cuter and more sentimental when little kids sing it.

I actually bawled during the movie when Lil' Ed sang it. I had the huges knot in my stomach thinking "God, now she's gotta kill 'em -sniff-!"

  • i know. i didnt actually cry (im a hard-ass i just cant do it lol) and i was just like oh....this is awful, i dont want lil toby to die! lol but he didnt thankfully. but still i love that song.

  • I liked Ed Sanders version better. This one's too overdone.

  • didn't think I'd like it, but was pleasently surprised. :)

  • I love him. His voice is just incredible. I could listen Josh's singing for the rest of my life and never get tired.

  • If you like josh groban and his song "the prayer"...Type "Coppell Talent Show" and hear two Texas High School All-State singers. The guy SOUNDS like Josh and the girl is amazing.

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSH!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • *squeals* omg josh..singing a sweeny todd song!! omg!! thats orgasmic!

  • -squeal- I love Josh!! And Sweeney! OMG!!!

  • Whoa Sweeney Todd and Josh Groban. Interesting combonation, but still pretty good!

  • wow thats amazing and so incredible. what an amazing man

  • wow, I had no idea he'd done this song! Not bad!! I love this song. :D

  • i am so not a fan. no offense, i just don't like his voice. but i love this song.

  • I'm sorry guys, JG is absolutely brutal

  • in one word: breathtaking

  • it was nice - he sat on the edge of the stage for this song - the fans were allowed to come up. He signed a few things and shook hands. Never seen anyone do this before -not while singing the whole time. He is real special.

  • Nope - it was at the Air Canada Center in Toronto.

  • Oh my God - was this the concert at Bobcats Arena in Charlotte? I was there, and he was INCREDIBLE. I cried during this song - I couldn't help it! He's got to be one of the most beautiful men on this Earth...

  • Nope, this was at the Air Canada Center in Toronto.

  • Heheh, yeah, I've been perusing the footage - I guess he did this at all the concerts. Regardless, it's beautiful!

  • I love this song, and Josh Groban's voice is amazing. I don't really care that it was bland acting, JG isn't an actor and this was a concert.

  • You do know its bland because he isnt acting the part, hes signing the song from his classical training background.

  • This is a concert, not a musical theater presentation.

  • No shit. Im saying its bland cause hes not acting out the song, ,just singing it.

  • wow, how pretty. Very pretty voice. excuse me as I fall asleep.

    ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhh... Josh Groban is the Toby to my Mrs. Lovett lol.

  • I was so there. I thought this was a great a version of this song. <3

  • Lots of other versions of that song on here - go watch them.

  • My GOD he's so bland.

  • ed sanders in the new film is so much better than this one. I like josh groban but not this song

  • haha good stuff

  • lol yea i was on your right...he was so amazing! cant wait till he comes back to toronto...hes coming back for a liek "various artists" thing but i would rather just see him, rather then him for a couple of songs and a whole bunch of other people

  • (I had to get my ticket lol) I was in section 323 row 3

  • helena bonham carter does alot better in my eyes

  • She barely even sings in this song. How can you say that she sings better than Josh Groban?

  • ehh. I love josh but I was just in sweeney todd and he did an ok version of the song, it just wasnt how it was meant to be sung by the character. but of course it was a concert and not a performance of the show, so he did it well for his audience.

  • OMG I love Josh's voice....seriously he needs to sing Johanna

  • great voice most definitely...I just don't like this song on him...

  • i'd rather hear him sing johanna...

  • he is amazing, but did he ever actually do sweeney todd? he might upstage evryone if he did.

  • He's too old to play Toby and too young to play Sweeney. He might do Anthony ok, though. He could knock "Johanna" out of the park.

  • and he seems soooooo down to earth!!!! I have never seen a singer sign autographs and sit with fans during a concert before!!! i loved it!!...O man i wanted to marry that man that night....it was disgusting how much i loved him hahaha

  • you were there?

  • yesss but i was in the 300's...amazing concert :D

  • Great video, great quality. I love this song!

  • yeah, it's the emotion that he puts in to his songs.

  • he is amazing!the biggest talent this world will ever know!me a grobanite?you bet!love this sexy man

  • I am crying. Thank-you!

  • Wonderful!Lucky you!I would so like to see him life once!

  • OMJ!!!! this is so lovely, thanks for posting :*

  • flawless. he looks so happy while he's singing...

  • He sits on the edge of the stage and invites fans to come stand around him when he sings. It is an amazing and wonderful thing to experience.

  • I was ten rows back, but my little camera had a very good zoom on it - 10x. He was sitting ion the edge of the stage for that one song.

  • when? where?

  • Toronto Canada-- March 5 I am a bit slow getting stuff up and running.

  • Its really great. You must have been very close and it lookd like he is standing at the same level as the audience.
