@djcosmingamer they indicate the streets your about to go on also if you own the road like boosting when you enter in the road will make a timer trigger you could be offline times (creators like crition games times) or Online times (against your friends or people actually online) they change colour as well Silver if you just drive there boosting, if u do show time (search it up on utube if u do know what it is) and get the highest points you own that road. doing both of them makes it gold.

@djcosmingamer which means that you now OWN that street but other people can take it Online so you have to make the time more impossible for any1 to beat. but theres a risk. if u add any1 to your friend list on Burnout Paradise you might end up losing that street to your friend since he might have beaten the time or the amount of points you have on showtime. but it doesn't really matter if you want to own the roads. theres like 110 roads i think so it will take LONG b4 u rwach even half

This game sucks they put Obama propaganda billboards on this game. EA designed there games for Advertisements .This game is a copy cat of Flatout . PS . Flatout is a much better game!

x 1200 anti-anilising 8x and works perfectly mac are very good gaming computers there very under rated maybe i will post a gameplay video on it!!!

well yes i do have an imac but i upgraded the ram installed bootcamp and did a system restore so yes it does work but the original macs probably wouldn't work with it to well but im serious

good effort but there is no way a massive graphics card would fit into one of those, they dont even make GPUs of this caliber for Macs... im sure it runs nicely but there is no way you could get the FPS of this guy

the GTX 285 is one of the fastest single GPU graphics cards, your iMac wont have anywhere near that amount of power. if you can get it running at good FPS with those a mac then good effort. as i said before the ONLY reason this looks laggy and choppy is fraps which puts excess strain on any system if he recorded this with a camera it would look smooth as anything and he would be getting 150+ FPS if your mac is running at those setting i recon your getting a max of about 60-80 FPS maybe less

i would update the cpu its just a dual core, if you want to have a GTX 285 you will have to buy another cpu, because the cpu do not fit to the card, buy a quad core

Too bad ALL benchmarks show that the GTX 295 and HD 4870 X2 are hand in hand. One is usually better than the other but it depends on resolution, set-up and which chip the game was designed to use better.

For example on max settings on Far Cry 2, GTX 295 wins, but on Ultra settings 4870 X2 kicks in full power and owns a 295.

They both are very good cards, I just wish people would embrace the idea of unity. Always fighting over one, when you can have both.

Stfu with you noob gaming console piece of crap. PS3 can barely reach 1280x720 pixels. All the games are upscales and I have never seen any Full HD game only upscales looking worse on 1080p than on 1080i and in a fact its pathetic. Consoles gpu doesnt provide antialiasing and has crappy shaders so all the things you see are looking awkward except for the games that developers worked their ass off on to provide better graphics for the performance of the shitty gpu placed in poor performing boxes.

Id love to have 295 but Im good with 285FTW and I will upgrade to direct x11 card as they come out. Hopefully. if consoles sticks with rasterization, I doubt they will be best for a single day they come out. btw till 2012 when new consoles are planned for 50 per cent there will be direct x 12 I bet ! when X360 came out there were better graphics allready, consoles werent any good. 8800GTS 320MB outperformed both consoles together not saying there was still 8800GTX w/ 768MBs of dedicated memory whereas consoles has up to 512 thats in ps3, although its not even used because GPU wont handle that data flow:)

yeah, youre right with the ps3 video memory, i got misstyped some things, but it really doesnt matter. well as long as ati will do the 45nm gpus the pricing should be close to 400 bucks for the real high end pieces. if youre really between this and new year I would definitelly go with directx11 cards even they might be a bit prices, or just buy the card from company that offers step-up program for at least two months. this would be the best way if the new gpus arent out yet. welcome to PC :)

Guess its just something about nvidia graphics cards that make games look better who knows but its my opinion.

did you set fraps core affinity? I get a whole hell of alot smoother recording when i set fraps to use cores that arn't being used by the video game.

I had the gtx 295 for quad sli but the microstutter is terrible so i bought 3 gtx 285s the bfg ones, but the core clock seems a little limited on them, so ive just ordered 3 more evga gtx 285 ssc hopefully they will clock a whole lot better

without fraps 60 solid fps, vsync is forced in this game 1920x1080 8xaa and highest quality.

If i enable ssao it drops to 43fps but agin its solid at that, i will disable vsync in nv cp and let you know how much more i get

Only some nvidia users are effected by the ssao bug. Ati users are ok , it needs to be sorted in a driver update.

they seem to have a real issue buffering the HD content the best way i have found is to start the vid and then pause it wait till it has bufferd the whole thing then play it . its a pain but seems to make the play back smooth
