coffee and cinnamon is delicious, now I understand why I was so skinny some years ago, I used to drink my coffe with cinnamon, eat rice and milk with cinnamon and oats made with water, cinnamon and honey, should keep up with my cinnamon and honey ideas again.
Thanks, Coach, I'm a boxing trainer that just went from hard workouts , jogging, mittwork, and lifting to a double stint procedure due to a blocked artery and feel like a lazy piece of crap sitting around and wondering if I can come back strong. Looking to change my diet and looking at cinnamon.
The cinnamon you can most definitely put in your coffee or tea. I'd leave the honey out. Although it would make a great sweetener, you'll be losing all the benefits of raw honey by putting it in such high temperatures. It's best to consume raw honey with room temperature water and some lemon juice. This is a weight loss and health drink that was used years ago but has been forgotten today.
@shurdawg I am a BIG proponent of eating egg yolks. The whole idea of egg yolks contributing to high cholesterol is simply NOT true. Research has shown that lecithin in the egg yolk (not the whites) actually inhibits cholesterol absorption. This doesn't even mention the yolks are where the real nutrients are at. Keep eating the whole egg my friend...they're a bona-fide supe rfood in my book.
can you tell me if someone who wants to loose weight can eat honey i love honey and would love some tea with honey and cinamon in the morning or even cofee i love cofee with honey and cinamon. thanks.
For the record, cinnamon is not a magic cure for controlling blood sugar or cholesterol, no more than anything else is. However it's highly effective at both when used in conjunction with a Primal Blueprint type diet. I've seen real world results in my own blood reports and that of numerous clients after being told of the benefits and doing my own testing. That's all I can share. Take it for what it is. It's simply a piece of the puzzle. Taking high amounts would not be recommended.
I'm pretty sure you have to eat huge amounts of cinnamon to see even a modest effect on blood sugar and cholesterol, like 2 - 4 grams at a time. If you're going to sell people on cinnamon, you better have more convincing evidence, "This is what I was told to get".. not the most reassuring statement lol
Not sure how many drops would equal 1-2 tablespoons but that's what we used. Don't worry so much about the exact number, just look to incorporate in moderation. Like I stated above, it's not a magic bullet cure but rather a helpful piece of the puzzle when used in conjunction with a Primal Blueprint or Paleo type diet.

@shapecon What is your take on egg yolks? I eat 3 to 6 a day, and have no health problems and low cholesterol.

I have essential cinnamon oil from Young Living. I wonder how many drops I would need to equal enough for 1 cup at a time.
