The part of this movie I found awkward and unnecessary was when the brother and the sister made fun of the handyman. Jodie Dooosh Foster should have had more class and deleted that unnecessary scene. Maybe she will be a lonely handyman in her next life if there is any karmic balancing of experiences. I wonder if she will think it's funny then. Russell was his name, I believe.

@parafleet I don't agree because of the rest of the scene. The whole movie has Claudia confronting emotions and this is just one more poignant example. There is a love story in the background (Leo and Claudia) and he gets a chance to see her really "feeling her feelings."

BTW: you do know that it's a work of fiction, right?

@msrebelnardcore Well, I think that you're seeing the scene as a writer would, with all the rest "in effect." I watched it as people should watch movies, open-minded duncy, and it made me feel bad for Russell and subtly turn on Claudia and Fish. Why did I call Leo "Fish," and I don't even remember why I made the primary comment or for what reason. So please forgive me if that's called for in this instance.

I want to watch it so damn much, but the audio is off with the video and it makes it too complicated and confusing. Hopefully it can be fixed, if not...then I'll watch it anyway. I love Downey too much not to watch his movies because of technical errors.
