Some Japanese producers actually admitted that Korean people has more voice than Japanese people. but Koreans and Japanese all has their own style tho. sounds might familiar but it's all different. Korean, Chinese, Japanese they have words that sound so similar. that's because of hanja(Chinese charactar. Many of words are from Chinese charactar so that's why). but that's just "some words sound similar". they all sound different when you hear they speak! :)

actually there are, i won't say a lot, but pretty many rock bands in korea. but they seem to be into indie rock more then punk rock, based off the most popular bands. example: jaurim, loveholic, nell, cherry filter, no brain, the melody.

but some of the most popular rock artists are metal based like seo taiji, living legen in korea, and moon hee jun is getting more popular.
