ya dude, ive got 2 LP's that are around L10 and they are barely 2 inches. LP's are mega small at 1st instar and take a shit ton of molts just to reach an inch, let alone the 5in or so u got there.

Very unsafe to hold a tarantula that far off the ground. A fall would likely be fatal.
