  • very good ..as an amateur I also have played this but not with as good a group.. The English Horn solo in the pastoral section, as well as the flute were excellent

  • Anybody who really loves old Warners Bros cartoons will have heard at least excerpts of the Storm and the Pastorial movements in a dozen cartoons.

And , this is a very good presentation of this piece, each Movement being presented well.

  • I only have to say one thing.

FANTASTIC. This was really good. You guys did a nice job with the dynamics and everything.

  • I loved thisversion. Especially the storm scene......wonderful brass and percussion. Well rehearsed and they play wonderfully in tune too!

    Thank you Amy

  • Nice!!!

  • The storm section is a bit slower than the Mickey Mouse edition of the same. Why didn't they go faster?

  • Re: "The storm section is a bit slower than the Mickey Mouse edition of the same. Why didn't they go faster?"

You came from that vid too? :)

This one goes about as fast as Carl Stalling/Milt Franklyn arrangements.

Also consider in the cartoons, the music cues coincide with the animation.

  • That trombone part is so insanely dominant!!!

  • Fantastic

  • Braaaaaaavo

  • Yeaaaaaaaaaaah super cool

  • wow we were studying this composer at my music class and we heard the exact same song! great job!

  • words don't express my happiness, about this maganifcent piece heaven ... this music is only for who apreciate the true music.thanks a lot for posting this

  • awesome!

  • Wow beautiful!! I love hearing the Storm. Few people know about that movement. That and the Gallop send chills down me. I love it when music can do that. I'd give it five stars if I could. Definitely a favorite. Thank you for posting this.

  • does anyone know the very famous orchestra piece, ive seen it even on cartoons, an all kinda stuff, one night on david letterman show an orchestra played the entire thing, starts of very slow, like in the early mornin, whoa, this is it,, william tell overture,, finally, ive heard this on bugs bunny, foghorn leghorn etc,, for many years, its this william tell overture,, finally, so peaceful t first, the lone ranger theme right,,thats what exactly im lookin for, peace.

  • It was also on a few episodes of Courage the Cowardly Dog.

  • It was the Macon Symphony Orchestra in Macon, GA, USA.

  • Would've loved to hear the cello solo.

    What orchestra was this?
