@alex51211 Yes, the title is Berio Rendering (BMG 1977). It contains Concerto II "Echoing Curves", Schubert/Berio Rendering, and Boccherini/Berio Ritirata notturna di Madrid. With London Symphony Orchestra.
@girdor17 SHUT THE FUCK UP .... FUCK YOU and your religion, I PISS ON YOUR HOLY BOOK .... happy? you started a fight under a BEAUTIFUL video just because you couldn't shut your fucking gob and keep your religion to yourself ... Noooo! you have to advertise!!! you have to be LOUD and ANNOYING ... KEEP YOUR RELIGION TO YOURSELF, THIS VIDEO IS NO PLACE FOR YOU TO SELL RELIGION, the fact that this composer was awesome does not justify your religion, FUCK OFF.
@girdor17 WoW you are the biggest piece of shit I have seen on youtube in a year. Who gave birth to you? a cow fucked by a crocodile? Take your religious scum and sell it elsewhere, you fucking piece of shit
@girdor17 funny thing is, Persians and Greeks have no hard feelings, since our civilizations were equal in calibre, eventhough we fought a lot, we always regarded eachother with respect ... I am guessing you are a muslim arab :D ... keep writing your rubbish
I was brought up on rock & roll ... loved hendrix, dylan, got into reggae and so much more. Since seeing this some time ago I am playing this stuff and laughing at the anguished faces of people that can't appreciate music outside of their own little box.
Dammit I love this just as I love Eddy Grant, Deep Purple and all the others. Music is music, the only thing that makes bad music is lack of talent and there is plenty of it here.
Please understand that this is a simple piece, written for a guitar, two violins, a viola, and a cello, that has been transcribed for an orchestra. Still, it is alive inn this selection,
The Boccherini work was originally a string quintet (Opus 30 #6). Boccherini made several versions of the the last movement including a quintet with guitar and a quintet with piano. Berio's composition is a kind of superimposition of the different versions on top of each other. This gives a subtle complexity to what is essentially a simple (yet delightful) work. See Jonathan D. Kramer's program notes at the Cincinnati Symphony's website for more info.
This is the third movement. The retirata de Madrid is composed by 3 parts. Pasacalles, Ave Maria and the Military march (this one) "Allegro Militare", which is composed of 12 variations. Yes very martial and it was Martially interpreted. Used by the Spanish Army during the Spanish American War of 1898.
i dont' know why but I always have that same feeling. If an alien comes, if human kind has ever demonstrated that we're parasites, just show that weird green monster this music, and he'll probably understand something, and even forgive us.
It seems a shame to criticize this excellent rendition, but it was written for guitar, so may I please ask why is there no guitar? Adding a guitar is a simple thing. But I did love this version :)
Some parts remind of the Toy Symphomy

If you are a atheist and have chance to listen to this heavenly composition
you will become a true believer of GOD. Praise the Lord for creating humans
such as Boccherini.

Since it is apparent you can not fuck, you impotent son of a bitch, why
do not finger yourself in order to have a glimmer of sexual satisfaction?
Funny it may sound but I do not have a Holy Book, but a Holly one, learn how to
spell and then you may judge other peoples opinion for classical music.
Save your piss for droughts, may need to drink it to survive. Respects..

Muy buen detalle del maestro López Cobos, hacer saludar primero a los dos cajas antes que al resto de la orquesta.

I also propose Boccherini's Fandango, arranged for orchestra. (Type: "Boccherini & Frühbeck de Burgos").
