  • Some parts remind of the Toy Symphomy

  • why can't people just listen to this beautiful music without making such horrible comments? thank you so much for posting!!!!!!

  • Incredibly beautiful! This is the best version I have heard of this fantastic composition.

  • I hardly recognise my favourite piece of music!

    T.H.

  • Bravo!!!

  • This orchestral arrangement of this movement is just fantastic! Is a CD version available - anyone know????

  • @alex51211 Yes, the title is Berio Rendering (BMG 1977). It contains Concerto II "Echoing Curves", Schubert/Berio Rendering, and Boccherini/Berio Ritirata notturna di Madrid. With London Symphony Orchestra.

  • If you are a atheist and have chance to listen to this heavenly composition

you will become a true believer of GOD. Praise the Lord for creating humans

    such as Boccherini.

  • @girdor17 Actually no, I'm still an atheist. But nonetheless this is utterly beautiful!

  • @girdor17 SHUT THE FUCK UP .... FUCK YOU and your religion, I PISS ON YOUR HOLY BOOK .... happy? you started a fight under a BEAUTIFUL video just because you couldn't shut your fucking gob and keep your religion to yourself ... Noooo! you have to advertise!!! you have to be LOUD and ANNOYING ... KEEP YOUR RELIGION TO YOURSELF, THIS VIDEO IS NO PLACE FOR YOU TO SELL RELIGION, the fact that this composer was awesome does not justify your religion, FUCK OFF.

  • @Byron10301

Since it is apparent you can not fuck, you impotent son of a bitch, why

do not finger yourself in order to have a glimmer of sexual satisfaction?

Funny it may sound but I do not have a Holy Book, but a Holly one, learn how to

spell and then you may judge other peoples opinion for classical music.

Save your piss for droughts, may need to drink it to survive. Respects..

  • @girdor17 WoW you are the biggest piece of shit I have seen on youtube in a year. Who gave birth to you? a cow fucked by a crocodile? Take your religious scum and sell it elsewhere, you fucking piece of shit

  • @PersianAcademy

In the beginning of the times Persians were screwed by the Alexander the Great,

too bad for you I know my father.

  • @girdor17 funny thing is, Persians and Greeks have no hard feelings, since our civilizations were equal in calibre, eventhough we fought a lot, we always regarded eachother with respect ... I am guessing you are a muslim arab :D ... keep writing your rubbish

  • @Byron10301 golly gee wizz who pissed in your cheerios??

  • @Byron10301 Beautiful music spoiled by such trashy comments. You two should just duke it out and shut up.

  • @girdor17 come on. i'm a Buddhists. can't i listen to this?

  • @Mark141120

Why not? Buddha is GOD. The concept of religion is to believe.

The name of the God does not make a difference. I feel sorry

for the people who blindly misinterpreted my first comments.

    Respectfully yours.

  • Absolutely beautiful! Thank god for boccherini!

  • Excelente

I also propose Boccherini's Fandango, arranged for orchestra. (Type: "Boccherini & Frühbeck de Burgos").

  • @2327RGP Gracias por la recomendación!

  • My hope is dead

  • This song has that "Bolero" effect where the piece just keeps building and building and building and..............

  • @redbrian3655 and then deconstructing and deconstructing and deconstructing...

  • One of those types of musical pieces you just can't get out of your head. It just keeps going "round and 'round.

  • ¡Qué maravilla de música!

  • Meraviglioso !!

Gracias

  • Absolutely stunning performance, thank you,I love every second of it,Murray in Scotland.

  • Let both, aliens and human beings take this work into consideration.

  • Ogni tanto torno qui e me lo riascolto. Una meraviglia.

  • Fantastic.....gives me goosebumps listening with my good lady.

  • It was a beautifull night in Antwerp with the concert of the Flemisch Philharmonic, where i heard this piece of music for the first time in my life.

The love of my life was sitting next to me, I could touch her when I needed it. It was perfect. i'll gonna never forget that night!

  • WOW!!!!! Bellisimo :)

  • What a beautiful piece –– beautiful for its original composition and beautiful more for its magnificent transcription.

  • I was brought up on rock & roll ... loved hendrix, dylan, got into reggae and so much more. Since seeing this some time ago I am playing this stuff and laughing at the anguished faces of people that can't appreciate music outside of their own little box.

Dammit I love this just as I love Eddy Grant, Deep Purple and all the others. Music is music, the only thing that makes bad music is lack of talent and there is plenty of it here.

  • guy on the oboe looks like billy bob thornton 5:05

  • thanks for upload this. Its brilliant. I really love it.

  • Impressive performance!!! Spain know the job!

  • Qué alegría! Hoy he descubierto algo bello!

  • We need to give Mr. Cobos a lot of credit for this performance. He has made seven minutes of repetition into a continuously interesting performance.

  • May I please observe you underestimate the composition?

  • Impressive!!

  • Please understand that this is a simple piece, written for a guitar, two violins, a viola, and a cello, that has been transcribed for an orchestra. Still, it is alive inn this selection,

  • The Boccherini work was originally a string quintet (Opus 30 #6). Boccherini made several versions of the the last movement including a quintet with guitar and a quintet with piano. Berio's composition is a kind of superimposition of the different versions on top of each other. This gives a subtle complexity to what is essentially a simple (yet delightful) work. See Jonathan D. Kramer's program notes at the Cincinnati Symphony's website for more info.

  • This is the third movement. The retirata de Madrid is composed by 3 parts. Pasacalles, Ave Maria and the Military march (this one) "Allegro Militare", which is composed of 12 variations. Yes very martial and it was Martially interpreted. Used by the Spanish Army during the Spanish American War of 1898.

  • Oboe for the win :)

  • Wait...I'm confused. Is this the same Notturna we listen to?

  • Well there are several movements I believe. Im not really sure which one this is!

  • I hope if an alien species ever evaluate the value of human civilization, they will take this work into consideration.

  • My hope is that more human beings take this work into consideration :)

  • @bjorn2lose

i dont' know why but I always have that same feeling. If an alien comes, if human kind has ever demonstrated that we're parasites, just show that weird green monster this music, and he'll probably understand something, and even forgive us.

  • It seems a shame to criticize this excellent rendition, but it was written for guitar, so may I please ask why is there no guitar? Adding a guitar is a simple thing. But I did love this version :)

  • This is about my favourite Youtube. I can see the difficulty in conducting this piece. These folks are superb!

  • Perfect!Superb!Magnificent!

  • ..Precision is a beautiful thing....magnificent performance.

  • superbe interpretation

  • Me encanta esta canción.
