my friend describes the movie as "twilight for nerds" and in a sense its true. it really is the love story for this generation. and from the perspective of a film major it really was a work of art, it honestly makes me incredibly sad that we will not see films like this again simply cuz of how it did in the box office. and Edgar wright if u ever happen to come across this comment. ty! u made a great film that no one can touch for a long time, instant classic imo. love the movie and love fury

It has everything I give you that, but it has very little of it. Character Development?, nah I don't think so, we learn some backstory but its fleeting and Michael Cera still plays Michael Cera, you're acting like he showed an ounce of Gravitas, which he didn't. He's still playing himself, except its highschool and teen angst so its Superbad Michael Cera...nothing new.

It's a silly movie with VG homages. The fights aren't epic as you make them sound.

You are 100% Correct. Having read the graphic novels, it wasn't a complete adaptation, but i wasn't expecting it to be followed completely.  Brandon routh was amazing as Tod Ingram. One of the best movies of the summer if not of EVER

Watched this and the Expendables today. Scott Pilgrim was freaking amazing. It was very fun to watch. The characters were great with really good dialogues. I loved the alternative universe they created. Great movie.

It was ''about'' video games, That I agree with, The fred savage movie was about video games, and a gaming tournament. It had Mario IN the game etc. Scott Pilgrim does not. It just had homages to games like Mario,Sonic, Final Fantasy..And speaking of Video game movies.. @splein23 I went to go see it but you know what happened? It was ONLY showing in 3D. I was spitting mad, I said WHAT? That's my ONLY option? then proceeded to rant about how this is what's wrong with 3D forcing us to pay more for the same movie with a feature we don't want. Then I left. I'll wait till for the DVD or something I just finished the animated season so I'll be able to scrutinize M nights work better.

I went to go see it the FIRST day it came out. I was highly anticipating this movie for a long time since the first time I saw the trailers for it. One thing though, it's just a comic book, not a video game. >.> It has several dozens of video game references (which you would have noticed if you went to see the movie, which I knew you did Fury) but it's still just a comic book-movie adaptation. But considering it's one not done by Marvel, it's still fuckin' awesome.

I think it was a great movie, but only as a movie. In regards to it staying true to the comic, it well... did until about halfway through the movie, it started changing things.
