This game is a Day one purchase. Story is Epic Graphic Run in Hi-Res was no slowdown on Xbox 360. And Dante Outfit is Bad ass. Even tough it resemble Kratos Color but fuck it im a gamer and its all good. I will play GoW3 also but this will definetly hold me over until then. Seriously guys... the story line and background are totally different. Just because they share the same game play style doesn't mean its a ripoff. For example Halo 3 and Modern Warfare 2 are both shooters and have the same basic control mechanics but their story lines are totally different. Hence they are DIFFERENT games.

A First party exclusive 99% of the time will have better graphics than a multi-plat(this is true for both sides, although there are very few first-party 360 games)... and when gameplay is ripped from one game the original is always better...

And ofc I am talking about how DI ripped GOW's gameplay as DI is a Christian story and GOW is a Greek mythology atory

Just to throw out the 101 about this game. This game is based upon a story that was written in 1308 by Dante Alighieri named "Divina Commedia". First poem of it's trilogy is Inferno hence the name "Dante's Inferno". Also this is not a GoW ripp off as it is a hack and slash type of game and hack and slash has been around for ages. As far as story goes, lets do some basic math GoW story line written 2005. Divina Commedia - Inferno written in 1308. So who is ripping who off?

yeah the demo has terrible graphics, but if you look at the newer videos it's improved greatly. Hence why they are called betas. They aren't the official released version, just great game designers giving players the opportunity to give their progress a test run. dante is just more complex and has a better history behind it and a better stroyline. Can't help but love the option of choosing talents and building your character the way you want it. it's much better interaction

@siviousinferno it is a demo, not a beta... demo's a a portion of a game after it has "gone gold" it is what the game will look like when it releases, there may be some minor graphical updates, but nothing major...

Also, it will probably look slightly better on the PS3 than 360 as the PS3 is the lead platform and the 360 is a port.

If you have played Prince of Persia you would realize the system GoW uses is similar. It still involves repetitive button smashing of two buttons to do combos. I have now played the demo, and can now say that it does in fact rip off GOW... they don't even attempt to hide it... The tutorials are even identical... I went into the demo having never played it before and somehow knew how to do everything because I have played GOW... I knew that the right analog would be dodge, i knew that square would be light attack and triangle would be heavy... this game doesn't even attempt to hide it...

lol the abilities arent the same! hahaha!! In GoW you use the orbs. to upgrade weapons by filling up a meter till u get the right amount to make a blood sacrifice. in Dantes inferno u simply spend points to buy new weapon abilities. like buying a new weapon. a one time payment.quite different.
