The social services should have helped Claire by supporting her application for housing. There was no need whatsoever for them to have taken the baby. They say that they keep famiilies together. I have not seen any evidence of it.

social services are not there to help parents, they are not paid to keep families together.. they are paid to wreck familes.
so typical of social services, another baby stolen just to meet their adoption targets. like many others this young mother needed help, not have her baby stolen just becuase she's homeless, living in a hostel.
How horrific that clare's baby was taken just because she was homeless. How much effort did socail services put into finding her somewhere to live - not a lot by sounds of it.
