Ray, i believe a lesson you should do is the pronunciation of a word like "person". I'm from Glasgow, moved to British Columbia a few years back, and my friends always ask my how to pronounce words and such, and one they can't get a handle of is "person".

For those wondering, most scots pronounce it "p-AIR-son" and not "p-UR-son"

I think your accent is easier to understand than many Scots. When I visited, I went to Glasgow and the lowlands and then up through Argyle... I had to ask "what?" so many times the natives probably thought I was mentally defective. They spoke so quickly and left out so many consonants... was that just a regional thing?
