There is an application that you enter in the colors and it shows you in an animation exactly how you can solve it step by step. It works. Rubik's Slide actually looks like fun, thanks for the review/demo.

I'll definitely upload a video response, My record time is 14 seconds, I used to speedcube, I'm out of practice right now, I can probably still do it under 30 seconds though.

I have several different cubes, all silicone lubricated etc. :P All to shave of a few seconds here and there.

I know 3 completely different methods of solving a cube.

@iAppleGamer I know the Fridrich method, the zz method (that one was tough for me to get used to) and the other one I forget the name...

I suggest learning lots of f2l algorithms, (first two layers, as that takes the longest, most people already know tons of algorithms for the last layer.)

And Finger tricks are key to shaving off time. both with your right and left hand.
