  • best amp ever.

  • hi i got this with my first electric gutair the other day but to be honest i don't know a thing about tone or anything like that, but all i know is that mine is NOT good. how do you make a nice tone???

  • @skillzdatkillz900 try adding a little chorus to the clean tone. it certainly helps! plus you can use the delay effect when you're using the overdrive. hope this helps!

  • can you record with this amp

  • is this amp good for a gig such as a high school auditorium??????

  • @pusalies is 30 watts ok?

  • how will this sound with an epiphone les paul special 2 and a cry baby original ?

  • the one thing you dont get when you buy something other than a marshall is that warmth!

  • this + dod yngwie 308 + boss ns-2 noise suppressor = Heaven

  • epiphome sg, this amp and a marshall jackhammer pedal... makes me a happy man...

  • this is a great practice amp but if you're an experienced player looking for a great amp,i wouldn't recommend this. you would not be satisfied with this. i would suggest saving up for the bigger ones like the mg30dfx or line 6 spider or peavey.

  • which one better mg15fx or dfx?

  • can you connect a rackmount unit to this amp?

  • Ok i have a line 4 spider 4 and a boss me-25 effects pedal and it doesn't sound very good at all and the only way to make it sound normal is if you have it on clean with everything off would it be better to buy a marshal 30 watt with my effects pedal or a vox 30 watt?

  • mg are just sad i got a jcm 800 and now thats a marshall

  • will a digitech metal master distortion pedal work good with this?

    i have an ibanez ART100

  • @RuneDbz i hav the Ibanez ART 120 and it sounds great with this amp ;)

  • Um yeah I have this amp but I want all kinds of fx idk how please help. Mainly I want some echo but idk how to put it on???plzzzz help

  • i have this amp, but it buzzes all the time, any ideas why?

  • @XxIKTPQx its either cuz

    1) u bought a bad amp

    2) ur guitar has distortion IN it

  • this one or a peavey vypyr 30?

  • i have a marshall mg30dfx and the distorsion sucks on it so i just use a pedal, i think this amps more for blues and rock.

  • Comment removed

  • whats the difference between this and the mg15fx

  • IT HAS MORE EFFECTS!!

  • i think ill just get a peavey vypr

  • very good choice

  • the dfx has somekind of boost button

  • 4:00

  • those amps have a veriety of realy nice sounds especialy wiv distortion i bought one for £20 of a friend

  • I play metal , like thrash , death metal..

And i think this marhsall will fit it because it got a realy good sound! At least think . I tested this amp with a jackson kingV and i really liked it! Iam buyng a dean Razorback db with this amp. Probably after some. I will keep the amp but buy a colun.

  • u wan metal go for Line 6 cuz they hav the Insane gain

  • @GuitaristBoi9 : Or buy a Metal Muff by Electro-Harmonix or ML-2 by Boss.

Distortion of them pedals are really better than Line 6's presets. :/

Yeah Line 6 amps are great for newbie at guitar, but their distortion presets are not really good...

  • if i am goin for pedals i will go for Digitech X-series Metal Master this pedal model a highest Gain amp in the world tat is Mesa Boogie Rectifier

  • A pedal to 100$ may not be in the spirit of an amp at 2000$

But yeah, Digitech made good distortion pedal too.

  • i knw tat but it is very close to the amp distortion

  • Maybe... I never play with Digitech Pedal... but why not ? ^^

  • i played in Digitech pedal but not Metal Master which is an Heavy Metal Distortion but an Overdrive which i bought wrongly

  • Yeah, im a metal/thrash player too, and i own one of these, i can tell you, they are amazing for them, put the gain all the way up and you get an amazing metal sound, its the closest to a true thrash metal sound you can get thats pretty affordable. I mean, the only amp ive tried thats beter than the marshall for metal is a krank krankenstien, which are very costly.

  • @TheGoreParadise man can you put pedals on it?

  • Anyone know how they compare to the Roland Cube series? Roland Cube 15 or 20x

  • The Rolands are unequivocably better, IMO.

  • I sure like my little Cube. I have the Spider III-75 also. In my 45 years of playing, one thing is certain; it's very difficult to find one guitar and one amp that is right all the time. I kid you not, I have thirty guitars and amps and I always want more.. always. Man, if we could ever find one guitar and one amp that would keep us grinning, it really would be a phenominal miracle. I don't play for money and I don't play for fun.. It's an obsession and the obsession has won! AARGGHHH HELP!

  • Well, the cubes have in-built settings for metal, acoustic and blues sounds, so if you want to just flick a switch for the different sounds then yeah, get the roland, but the marshalls are classics and rolands just dont move the air as well as the marshall. But tbh they're both very good amps

  • if you want to play loud overdrive then dont buy fender frontman 15g

if you want to play loud clean tones then i reccomend fender 15g or maybe even bigger.

  • im gona buy this amp..coz my smarvo amp cant statisfy me..and this amp sound nice..have better sound quality i guess..

  • I have a big question what is better this Marshall MG15dfx or line 6 spider III also 15 watts??? please answer i really want a good amp but i dont have enough money I have around $80

  • i got a line 6 75 watt and thought i sounded good until i got better at guitar and realized its sounds like shit then i saw the mg series of amps and was blown away. they r a lot better and sound more like a tube amp. I d good with the marshall

  • cool...i have the Marshall MG30dfx (mg series own!) but it is very faulty until i got it fixed and now that it works it is just simply brilliant! it got it for £130.00 aswell so u would expect a little quality.

  • u should save around $150,00 first (in my country - (£90.00) and then maybe try the Fender Frontman 25gr combo...it is known to be the best amp for a cheap price. and it's 25watt! GO FOR IT! they cost around $140,00 maybe??

  • I bought a spider amp, I'm not satisfied with the tone of the distortion. It sounds all washed out and unclear. I do not recommended it even for beginners because as your ears get sharper you realize quicker how washed out it is. I did not think that the amp mattered that much, but it does in terms of tone.

  • It depends on what u want to play. If u like metal i would go with line 6 and u get more watts, but if you want an awesome classic rock amp then i would go marshall but it would only be 15 watts but it is a good practice amp

  • I have the line 6 spider III and let me tell u IT'S better than this marshall, line 6 doesn't have any noise while u play with distorsion, also has 2 parameters with 3 effects per each and u can combine them! it's really nice and appart from that has some other extra functions. I hope I could have helped u, sorry for my bad english =)

  • ive got that one 2, a 75 and they are much better i totally agree, and how big is urs?

  • the spiders are str8 but a pain in my ass...i like the old classic amps....

  • Very true, Line 6's are really good, but the marshals are classics, only thing is, if you have the gain, treble, bass and contour all the way up with FDD on you tend to pick up tv channels lol

  • There's a hell of alot of negativity around this amp. I bought one off my mate today at a bargain price of £60 and i honestly cant find a fault with it. Clean sounds beautiful overdrive sounds great and the built in effects rock ! You'd think it was gonna fall apart as soon as you plugged it in the way everyones been going on but it suits me and my tastes. A word to anyone who is thinking of purchasing it, dont listen to other people because its all musical taste.

  • i got this amp. i like the clean suond but i do not like at all the overdirive.

  • the overdrive of the amp has noise

  • wow what a coincidence.. i was researching both the guitar and amp :D well now i know that the combination is fine so i'll go with the two. thanks for the upload!

  • nice!!! thanks a lot!

  • are all those sounds coming from the amp itself,no effects, please tell me

  • The amp has built in delay, reverb, chorus and flange

  • some effects are built in delay, reverb, chorus, flange. but ill prob still go get a a couple pedals... wah wah, and distortion :D

  • kolko si dao za amp??

  • i own VOX AD30VT at home BUT there is just one thing that many ppl just can`t understand... it`s not about amp`s brand, model or price... some like Peavey, some Laney and other Marshall. so there is no such thing as "good" or "bad" amp, it`s just a matter of "musical taste". some ppl like muscle cars, other like sport cars but does that mean that race bikes are shitty? don`t think so. one like how car`s engine sounds and other doesn`t give a fuck about it as long as it`s fast. and that`s it.

  • that is so true.. on so many levels

  • however in each of those categories of cars there lemons, this is one. i love the marshall sound, but this sounds like a very bad copy of the marshall sound.

  • @wolverinek84 no it does matter in the type of music you play like VOX isnt good for rock

  • @killakid443 - if you think that VOX amps ist`n good for rock it just means that you have no idea how to use VOX amps. that is all i have to say to you m8.

  • @wolverinek84 vox is good for old rock like classic or blues but not todays rock

  • @killakid443 - oh come on man, i`m playing Metallica, Iron Maiden, Lacuna Coil, The Offspring, Evanescence, Papa Roach, HIM, Six Feet Under, Sepultura, Korn and many more with my VOX and it sounds just fine. The thing is that you have to play with the knobs to get the sound that you like. At first i thought that my VOX amp was shitty but when i started messing with it it turned out to be a really good amp for playing any kind of music...

  • @killakid443 Vox has a better distortion then Marshalls in some cases. Trust me. And also, lower prices. :]

Dunno about rock, but I saw a vox' distortion with a $1k Ibanez compared to a marshall's and vox really got me wavin'. xD

  • @wolverinek84 except the Squire SP-10

  • @wolverinek84 This might be the best opinion i have read here on any subject you sir are the man.

  • So, all the tones and sounds that were played, (mostly I'm talking about the funny sounds on the clean part) came from this amp? No pedals or anything?

  • im going to use it for Punk so yeah i think it will be sweet!!! i only need the fucking distortion, tone and volume the rest is history

  • i got one and love it. it's kinda small and light, but it is as loud as heck. i can vibrate all the windows in my house with this amp. it sounds just as good as it does in this video too. this has got to be in the top 10 starter amps. i've played 3 years and it still sounds good enough for me. i highly recommend it. 5 stars

  • why did you get one? why the FUCK are you recommending it. its just awful.

  • or you just can`t play on it. i`ve tried it yesterday and it`s not bad for the price.

  • don't skip to conclusions. you dont know how good i am. im playing one this very second. its my brothers. its terrible.

  • so don`t buy one if u don`t like the sound. i don`t like Kustom`s or Crate`s sound so i don`t buy them but i don`t say that they are shitty, they just aren`t my type.

  • its good to let people know they shouldnt waste their money on shit amps. dont you understand?

  • you want a "good amp"? get Mesa Boogie, some top model of Marshall, Peavey or Line6. and don`t get any static state amps, they all are shitty. what do you say now maestro?

  • i know a lot more about guitars/amps than you. FOR THE PRICE, this amp is terrible. you can do a lot better. maestro.

  • well i can`t say that you know shit about amps or guitars if you can`t understand that meaning "good or bad" doesn`t exist as for guitars or amps. it`s all about if you like the sound or not. i LIKE how Marshall`s SOUND, does it make me a shitty guitar player?

  • no, marshall make some great amps. just not the solid state ones IMO. also, there is such thing as good or bad.

  • man.. i`m glad that we came to a point ;d

  • they're terrible for the price, absolutely worst amps you can buy, along with the line 6 spider 3.

  • so name some better ones

  • peavey vypyr, roland cube, fender blues junior,

    actually anything.

  • i really have to check out that vypyr... about cube - many ppl say that this amp is shitty ;d and as for fender - i don`t like fender`s tone, how it sounds :/

  • the cube is just about the best practise amp you can buy, also check out the vox valetronix, or the ac4.

the fender is supber at blues, i wouldnt use it for anything heavyer then cream or ac/dc without a good o/d pedal.

  • what would you recommend?

  • for what?

  • Haha, what if I told you you could have bought a peavey vypyr 15 watt..Mwahahaha,that think kills the mg!

  • is it a good amp to get if youre covering tones like ac/dc?

  • its perfect ive got the same

  • or heavier? like 'tallica?

  • Besides the effects is there any tone difference between the mg15 and the mg15dfx?

  • nope

  • I got this amp but I get feedback very quick could it also be my guitar which makes the feedback?

  • you play it too loud and you're too close to it. otherwise, it could be your pickups.

  • dobro odsvirano

  • Seems to be a very good amp, think I'm gonna buy one :)

  • DONT GET ONE FFS

  • i was worried i was fucked by buying this amp because it was cheap but it turns out to be a great one

  • I got this in lmtd edition silver today VERY crunchy filthy distortion

  • Zasto ja tek sad vidim ovaj video? :D:D

  • I've got one and its pretty good! :)

  • hey which amp sounds good for Iron Maiden style?

  • Fender Amps seem pretty good.

  • yeah i know i'm going to sell my mg15dfx and get a fender frontman 212r or something. this sound good to you for a couple of months before you realize how bad it sounds.

  • yea i got a fender frontman 212r it has good sounds especially for blues

  • what this amop be good for prog like dream thater stuff? btw really nice playing keep it u p :)

  • no dude!

only mesa boogie for theater stuff

  • Apparently, this one is better than the marshall 30 dfx.

  • really? I don't get it

  • Hes basing that off ultimate guitar reviews,

MG15DFX received a higher score, and alot of complaints,

but ive only played on The MG15DX, and there are alot of trolls and biased reader reviewers, so i wouldnt exaclty know

  • Dobra svirka! Uskoro ću si i ja nabaviti jedanog od ovih Marshalla!

  • ive been round all the shops in my area to check this amp out and i must admit it seems a bit small. At the moment i have a peavey rage 158 as im not in a band yet, im thinkin of gettin rid of it to get one of these...

  • Wow, nice deal.

I had to get 'em to match a price and I paid $160!

  • i love this amp. it sounds great with my les paul

  • very good demo, I think I'm gonna get one of these amps.

  • Do, I've got this one and I must admit, it's not too shabby.

  • Picked up a used one yesterday from a local music store for $90.00. I gotta agree "not too shabby" at all. I love it.
