I think this film is missing the point completely.
It's not large-scale violence that corrupts....it's sitting at home gaming....winning points by hurting/killing other 'virtual' people, or watching the 'hero' in a movie kill the 'baddies'. Stronger is better? ...no, it's not.
The thing is. A person can always feel emotions, it is just whether or not they are mentally strong enough to cope with those feelings. If you are easily set off balance emotionally it isn't a good thing, you become weak and unstable, easy to exploit.
but at the same time hardened people are immune to the human feelings that come with tragedy. tragedy does not have to be a large event like september 11th or the virginia tech shootings. i believe that a person who has become hardened by violence isn't really a person anymore and the belief that violence should be accepted as ok and normal is wrong.

Violence makes us tougher and mentally stronger. Look at boxers or soldiers, after being exposed to numerous amounts of violent scenes, they mentally and physically fortify themselves to become stronger human beings.

@bighairyfrog
Unfortunately your mental condition is stable according to mainstream psychology.. violence is very human, we are after all animals.

The idea of violence does not bother me at all. Should I seek help? Or are some people just naturally like that?

False, they keep a tough shell on the surface while they are dying inside literally mentally they are not stronger, they are weaker.
