So here's my question. I have this really old fence in my backyard and no sun ever hits the north side of it. The conditions are so perfect moss even grows up the side of the fence and it's been raining every other day for weeks. Moss grows when it doesn't even rain. I took a piece of paper with two spore prints and sprayed them off the paper onto this perfect north side of the fence. How long do you think it will take them to grow.

@parsleysprigs i dont think it will grow, moss is your number one enemy. try the pf tek, it seems tricky but kinda easy

@1787dude The pf takes too long I don't want to have to grow from spores every time. Not only that but ge is really bad in cakes so they colonize slow too. I'm sticking to grains I've never had a contam and I'm trying to think big here. There's not enough room in my place for tubs and all that either. But I do have this great yard. How is moss bad for fungus, I've had mushrooms pop up back there before. Is it the nutrient thing or is the moss more dominate.

a month isn't that long and im a horribly impatient person lol,i live in a cramped place and im making room for at least one tub.i heard that when moss takes over its usually bad but the mushroom in the video is growing around moss so i guess its not that bad. im going to do my first grow sometime next month, hopefully i get a good batch, plus if your cakes are still good after your first grow you can soak them in water for a day again and they will produce more the second and third time around
