when i read the notice in the biography of bucks fizz. i feel sad... because i know the band in internet and i like very much. greetings from Argentina.
i remember that day like it was yesterday , i'd had a row with my then boyfriend , he told me the news and i didnt believe !!!! when i heard the news for myself later that day i fainted Mike Nolan could die???????????????? NO WAY , like hundreds of others out there I WAS AND STILL AM IN LOVE WITH HIM . Thank God all turned out ok love to all fizzers everywhere xxxx
Very touching. I loved The Fizz.. Gosh so long ago, how things have changed. I remember the accident, I was 11. Glad Mike and the gang are ok. I never wanted that era to end, good times
My family and I went on holiday to Africa a couple of days before christmas day. I remember how I was worried sick as to how I would find out if Mike was going to be ok - as there would be no way of seeing any newspapers etc back then. Fortunately cabin crew staying out our hotel had checked with people back home and were able to give us the news that Mike had come out of his coma .That helped enormously.
Thanks for this! God I was 12, in love with Mike, couldn't eat or sleep. When he was given the last rites I didn't know what it meant, but I knew if Mike died then at my young age I thought I would too.
Thank God for the doctors and nurses- they're true Herod! And I still love Mike:) x
I had tickets to see them later on the tour in London so I was (selflishly!) doubly gutted by the news. I watched every news bulletin I could and still have them on video somewhere. I cried night in my room playing "January's Gone" over and over. I sent a Get Well card to the Newcastle Hospital too .. felt so helpless. Saw them this year in High Wycombe and then the first of the tour in Bognor. If this film had been played before seeing them in Bognor I would have been a wreck!
Every day I woke up and checked the paper terrified that Michael would be gone.
Seeining it again now still makes me cry, but an amazing recovery from those hurt.
I would have loved to have been at Newcastle for their special concert. Please please come back to Australia, the 1989 small tour and seeing them at the Melbourne "Swagman" and meeting them at the airport was the best time ever,
oh my god i remember the crash like it was yesterday , i wasdesperate for any news on the band Mike especially as he was always my fave member, when i heard he was given last rites i was , like the rest of the Bucks Fizz fans out there, terrified he wasn't going to survive and i prayed day after day until he came off life support.
words cannot express how grateful and thankful i am to all the wonderful doctors, nurses and specialist at all the hospitals in the love and care they gave the group
27 years ago today... How time flies. Can't agree more with the text in this video. Thank God they're all allright and still going strong.

Very touching - especially Cheryl and Jay's emotions 25 years after it happened. I can still remember it like it was yesterday.

Great video - I was at the Newcastle concert in 2009 where this was played and had everyone (the group included) in tears. Great show as well
