Fantastic... and I agree Mark nailed this song. I've been hoping someone would upload this tune. It's great. I live in St. Louis and this song didn't receive much airplay. Today's country stations seem glued to country pretenders, such as Taylor Swift and others like her. This is what country should sound like. Nice job. Thanks.
This is one of the greatest covers ever made! Mark's version of "Rollin' With The Flow" peaked at a meager number 25 in late 2007. Deserved more airplay and a higher chart position. Can I get a hell yeah??!!
@christopherhud HELL YEAH! I saw his video for this on CMY Studio 330 but they did not identify him-as I am new to country music, it took me almost a year to find this!
Ditto on the responses that talk about this song being their life's story. This song captures how I view my life and how I think about life in general - especially the part about "I ain't never growin' old"......definitely one of my all-time top ten favorite songs and no one could have sung it better....
I really think that the three most UNDER-RATED country music artists ever are Mark Chestnut, Vern Gosdin, and Gene Watson. What a shame. They are great COUNTRY artists!!

This song was written by my friend, Memphis songwriter Jerry Hayes. Sadly, Jerry passed away in January 2007. He was a great musician and writer, and a great friend. My favorite quote from Jerry: "Life is short...but it's wide."
two different versions, but both have their own greatness .when the steel guitar comes in on the second verse man is that a thing of beauty, blending with marks smooth voice.I like this version better because of the arrangement . but charlie was my favoret singer back in the day & never made a bad record.
I love this song. However, it's too slow for my taste. I love the tempo of the original. It's such a fun loving song and, to me, this one just doesn't capture that vibe. It's a great cover though.
Both versions are great,I'm a big Mark C fan hes about the only guy other than Alan Jackson I bought every album when it came out.I still like Charleys a little better as I said they're both good singers and great versions,Thanks for this!!
Awsome cover, Charlie was one of the greats but Mark does a great job. Mark is way underrated, country needs to get back to its roots. Good job Mark. We miss ya Charlie, shoulda cut back on the booze. One arkansas boy to another.

This song sounds like if played well and a little slower, it make a very good saxophone song. I like its melody. Ill give it a try. The song is awsome though. I love country music and i like adding my own twist to it on the saxophone.
Me sleeping...and listening to this song?... makes my spirit soaring above mountain peaks and glading along grasslands and the seas...Wonderful tune!!!Makes me daydreaming...
Wow! what a great comment ! This song is sooo smooth and easy it just takes us to that special place in our minds where nothing else matters but listening to this song and enjoying every note and every word
