well the trick is very simple the kids is on that end of the box hanging on they got a kid cause grown man would be to heavy

they didn't put any top on it and the pieces inside they put on the outside and the kid probably came from above (AKA he jumped in from above)

I don't want to spoil illusion because it is not etical but I will tell you to carefully watch body position of magician duiring rotating of the box and you'll get the clue!
it looks likes at the end he puts his body closer to the box, is it got to do something with that?
