back again to this vid, friend had a gopro 3 wrist mounted had some real nice low angle shots of us surfing, looked into the camera and found this video, all these years later, I have owned each new model and seen all of the vids and I am still drawn back to this video... good tunes, felt like I was riding that bike, awesome footage and very good quality, youtube or editing program will degrade quality. I currently own 3 go pro cams, hero wide 5, hero HD, and new hero HD 2, I want more vids!!!

ayy word of advice if you want a better shot attach it to something that you can see like the side of your helmet it helps the image not look so shaky if there is something not moving through out.

no setting, just depends on lighting and how you save it.

I got my gopro camera yesterday but the quality is not as good as this, it is the exact same package. mine sort of flickers and changes light constantly. any ideas to fix? thx

Some times it does that when the lighting is not that good, I watched your vids and they look fine. This video was shot with the old 3mp gopro with 54 deg. lens. Check out my other vids for footage with the 5mp wide gopro. And as for quality, it all depends on how you save it, I save all my vids as a wmv file, hope this helps.

Is that the hero 3 wrist cam strapped to the front of your helmet? Very clever, might work out cheaper (and better) to buy than the same camera but with helmet mounts etc.
