Janick actually is the fastest from Maiden. Don't believe me? Watch the Rock in Rio DvD. On one song (don't remeber which one) he shreded a solo so fast. I never seen anyone play that fast. And he is actually pretty good. I like how he plays and how Adrian and Dave plays.

Murray vs Gers for fastest id say. Smith is so melodic and perfect it hurts, but his runs require more finesse then speed. Gers is more staccato where as Murray is very legato. Its possible Gers may be a BIT faster, but i could imagine Dave's fluid legato licks beating Gers' picking on the race track. (See Sign of the Cross solo, on Rock in Rio!) Compare it to Gers' solo right after if you want a good side by side of them dueling. That being said, Gers is the perfect addition to Maiden!

The concert is fantastic. This was their last concert in Europe 2005 before they went to the US and they really were doing their very best. I've seeen it soo many times and I never get bored. UP THE IRONS!!!!

Janicks picks every note really strong, so he sounds a little bit mechanic :p. Dave is god smackingly glorious player, because he can even play without his right hand :D, his left hand is so strong that f.e. the trooper solo intro was played with one hand. Awesome.
