Hey, I've yet to buy my mac, and am just wondering. To download Windows using bootcamp, I would have to purchase a version of windows correct? Or can I just download it?

@megajohnsonbaby I agree that the specs aren't the best for the price but the os makes up for it personally for me and how efficient it uses the hardware with the software.

I have a quick question, is the hinge on the 13 inch Macbook pro working well? I've heard a lot of complains about the hinge sort of making a cracking noise. I had a 13 inch Macbook and the hinge did the cracking noise several times, but luckily it didn't break the hinge.

@JSantana319 Not that I know of personally maybe on the plastic macbooks but not on these with me personally or at least that I know of.

@gsharpshooter80 The Macbook I had was the first Macbook Unibody Aluminum that came out on October of 2008 which is the same design as this one. It's not a big deal to be honest with the hinge, but I just wanted to make sure because it was a bit annoying, but nothing big, lol.

@neelie99 That's tough I mean it is a different operating system less virus none at all that I've come across to be honest battery life is probably the best when doing things like surfing the web or what not can still run windows on it through boot camp and overall its just a top notch quality machine !

@bojacub In terms of hardware yea I can understand why your saying that but in terms of stability and how the os uses the hardware, I would have to say it's more stable doing that then windows ! But I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate on boot camp which runs pretty well for me as well but only use it for gaming.

@ryangood38 I use to have the hp pavillion 15 inch model forgot what they called it before this laptop but I hated it since day 1 I got it but got it to go to college with and slowly started sucking so I jumped on a macbook pro which has been very pleasing to me and no problems at all !

@gsharpshooter80 Haha you're lucky. I'm going to get the 13" in December. The ubibody enclosure and the glossy screen + black keyboard go very well. I'm switching from a traditional PC because I've been using it for years and now I want to do explorational and secret finding all over again :D

Great Vids! I'm planning to get this in Summer, I desperately need to upgrade from my iBook G4 XD I got a couple of questions for you. What do you think of the MacBook Pro after these few days? Do you think the High-end 13" would be way faster than the base model? Also, if I'm not mistaken you installed Windows on it... Have you noticed that the battery runs out quicker or has Apple fixed that problem? Again great videos, hope you'll enjoy your new Mac!

@timoblaze If I were you I wouldn't pay the extra bucks for the higher end macbook pro 13 inch model its only like what .20 ghz more faster for like $300 dollars ! that to me is just plain stupid and that's the only thing that gets faster and you get a little bit more hard drive space which well personally I know how to upgrade the ram and hard drive which is why it's not that worth it to me ! As for installing windows, its good for gaming but yea battery life I feel runs better on the mac os !

@Vidguy112 so far I love it have had no problem with it and found where everything was located in the mac os and how they are different from windows and was able to find boot camp and install without almost any instructions only thing I didn't know is to get back to the mac os from windows is you needed to install the drivers from the mac disc that I said to keep safe in the first part vid ! But yeah man its deff a solid machine in my opinion !
