  • looks super duper EASY!

  • I enjoy your use of purple.

  • this is shit. seriously if some1 has taste he will agree with me and like this comment. I wouldnt even make a banner like this to my fish store in a shit hole, if i had one..

  • I think the 5 dislikes are because of this music... the technique is pretty neat though.

  • @iamwagers awww thanks :) .....i can't see the likes or dislikes, haven't looked at 'em ....i just do my art thing and post lols

  • @pipzzart how the hell could you not like Queen? omg!!!

  • I would please like to know what you used for your 'base' ---canvas?

  • @dterranova9 Hi...In the video I used paper for the base but I've also used hard card and canvas.

  • I'm motivated again thanks to your videos. How your creativity and love for arts shows through.

  • @Emshobee Fantastic!!....yes I live and breath art & it motivates and inspires me when others make fab comments like yours....Peace and love to ya! :)

  • I wonder if it' works well with the hot glue underneath the foil as well?

    Interesting piece, thanks for posting.

  • hi there. Yes it does. You can do your design/pattern 1st, then cover with foil. It is just as interesting....I liked the smoothness of the glue in contrast with texture from the foil.

  • Great vid and techniques... One thing.. can't read your directions.. maybe make them white lettering?.. Anyway, great job!

  • Hi. Yeah I did try white but it was worse, figured one could always pause the vid to read the instructions. :)

  • Loved your video! Beautiful mixed media project! And loved the music you chose! I'm a huge "Queen" fan.

  • Thanks :) yeah Queen is great

  • this looks like lots of fun. first time hearing of this technique. great job

  • do you have to use spray paint?

  • Sorry for delay in reply....No you don't have to use sprays but it helps get in all the nooks n' crannies, because of the textures in the paper. It will be interesting to try other methods i.e. water colours, acrylics etc what ever you want

  • ps..you would have to put some adhesive type over the foil to help other paints adhere. With it being foil paints (watercolours etc) will resist. Hope that helps?

  • There's a product called "Gac 200" by Golden , which when mixed with Fluid acrylics gives better adhesion on the foil. You only have to use it for first layer, then you can paint like you would normally do.

    Otherwise the paint doesn't stick.

    Regards

  • That's great info! much appreciated thanks alot..

  • Thanks :)

  • Your welcome;-)

  • Students like this project a lot.

  • Nice one! Ooh could you send me some pics? I'd love to see 'em :)

  • Got my spray cans n foil today! Can't wait to try this out.

  • Keep these comin'! Your art is real creative and full of ideas to pursue . Thanks.
