@ukuleleboi1 i'm haole and i totally understand what u mean man, when i first came out here i was like that then met my wife who is local and the past 8 years living here have been the best years of my life, i love the island, i love the people, i respect the land...that's all anyone can really do, and if it matters i apologize for how some of us act at times, it takes time for us to wake up and realize how much of a wonder this place is

got a good amount of nice people

everyone is laid back, never in a hurry

the people are beautiful

you can live a real good life here

and its ok. i know that it takes a while, but once you get used to, you really understand it here.
